Wonderful repair! Great to watch your videos. What are these filters by nature? I mean resistors, caps or coils? You replaced for display and touch?
@kennex1339

Caps
@EnricoConca
@EnricoConca 4 жыл бұрын
@@kennex1339 they are ferrite beads, not caps. Ferrite beads are essentially inductors with very lossy core that help reduce high frequency disturbances. That's why he is testing for continuity: a good ferrite should show 20 MOhm).

It's more of an inductor used to eliminate high-frequency noise. If blown, it will break the circuit where voltage can no longer travel from point A to point B

Hey man. Nice crisp work again. Does it bother you too as to why that particular component went bad while you are replacing it? I was thinking this the whole time you were doing the repair. How come so many filters blew all at once? Has he got to the root of the cause? Might be helpful if you could touch upon it in your commentary. Other than that, perfect!

Makes you wonder what the 'customer' was doing when all that damage was caused if they were doing it on behalf of their customer! The connector being broken like that in particular...you'd also think they'd know that the battery should be disconnected before changing the screen if they are in a similar 'high level' repair trade, albeit not component level...

Good job as always Alex. As for comments regarding what appears to be generous amount of flux he uses, it's under a high power microscope. Based on scale most Flux is only less than or equal to the size of a Qtip head.
