This video definitely helped me to decide that I am getting a mini instead of the 2022 basic iPad. I am legitimately happy I stumbled on this video of yours. Great use cases :D Got my iPad mini for ready. There is something to having books in your hand for sure. But you can only carry around so many books at one time... and thats especially annoying, if you move a lot. So the mini was a no brainer for me. Must say though, for writing longer than just quick notes, its a bit too small.

And I meant it! I remember having a go at KZfaq a few times and it made me realise how incredibly hard it actually is, with the scripting, recording, coming up with ideas, editing, there's just a lot that goes into each video behind the scenes. So well done and keep up the grind, I'm sure that big day will come 💪

It is a crazy useful little thing. Not just Kindle but I catch up on magazine and newspaper subs as well. And if I'm on my lunch break I can pair this with my nuphy keyboard to look through discord and answer private emails. And thanks for pointing out that Paperlike is nothing like paper - but is great.

I always forget about the magazines...I used to have a Wired digital subscription and iPad was the only way to read it - they used to throw in all kinds of digital only benefits too.

I bought one from amazon for $460 due to my Lenovo M9 turning off when i move it slighty, I needed a small tablet for media consumption and reading, hopefully this will fix my needs

Should I wait for 7th gen or get the 6th right now?

I would wait, either way. The 7th gen is rumoured to only be a processor bump but it’ll likely be coming in early 2024 with other iPad models. If you don’t care about the upgrade you’ll be able to pick up the 6th gen for a great price.

Hmmm. That’s fair in most cases but I dunno about all of them? I’ve tried the iPad Air, both sizes of Pro iPad and couldn’t make any of them work for reading in the way I can with the Mini!

Exactly! Bigger than a phone but smaller than a regular tablet- perfect.
