I broke my screen by dropping it, it's working perfectly fine so I think I need to only replace the glass digitizer not lcd. What do you think?

@@leolvr69 as long as the picture looks good -no black spots/lines/etc- then only the outer/touch screen glass needs replacement.

Question: is it possible to do a glass only replacement on this 9.7 iPad pro? I would love to be able to salvage the oem digitizer. Note: I have a business doing this and have the professional equipment.

Its possible with dry ice or with heat and molybdenum wire. but its time consuming and easy to break the lcd.

I think its almost impossible. You must separate with careffull, luck, and lot of heat, then glued together wiith patience, uv glue and a lot o luck...Then put it on a uv lampa and a lot of Luck...basicALLY LOTS Of LUCK :-)

Once i saw a video from some Japanese market where they did that. They used some heavy and precise tools for that job. Just accept it that you bought the wrong things by not investigating the possibilities beforehand.

you didnt show that the battery needs something to disrupt the connection of the display or it will fry the board so now I have a pissed customer and a fried ipad...
