iPhone 12 Pro MAX One Week Review: TOO BIG?!

I've been using this Gold iPhone 12 Pro Max for one week now. If you saw my initial unboxing video, I had mixed thoughts about it. I came from using an iPhone X which is much smaller. My initial thought was to return the 12 Pro Max for the 12 Pro, it was TOO BIG!
However, after using it for one week, I have learned to use it properly. Even with my small hands, it is serving me well using it day-to-day. Using it one-handed is a bit tough, but I've gotten used to it. Don't try to watch videos one-handed for too long: this will be painful for your muscles!
The big screen is so refreshing, especially with Zoomed mode turned on (you have to try this it looks amazing on the Pro Max).
A downside is that it doesn't fit in the pocket that well and it will stick out of skinny jeans. Leave this phone in your jacket pocket if possible. The battery life is also pretty amazing. I use it pretty intensively throughout the day and end up with a 30% charge at night.
My final verdict... is I'll be KEEPING this phone despite the drawbacks. After you get used to the size it's perfectly fine to use! I cannot go back to my iPhone X now it looks like a toy for babies. The bigger screen is definitely worth the drawbacks!

i actually got the same too. Gold Pro Max. in the beginning i agree that it's size and bulkiness is a surprise. and is tbh the heaviest phone i have ever held so it was an unusual feeling to have. but then later on I am loving it even more. it's a stunning and beautiful phone feels so premium and i specifically got gold because it looks the most expensive and elegant. i decided to go for this because just like you i really wanted a bigger screen and bigger battery too. Weeks later it doesnt feel that unusual anymore. i realized that i had that initial reaction is because i came from a smaller phone for 4 years. and just upgraded to iphone now. no regrets at all! super love my Gold Pro Max!

I gave up my 12 for a 12 pro max and I do prefer the 6.1 in screen it’s just so much more manageable the 6.1 is the perfect size

I think the case you use will play a factor in the weight of the phone too. I’m planning on upgrading from the iphone X to the 13 pro max and probably get a pop socket. Thanks for the video!

You’ll prob need a poop socket The pro max is far too big and heavy for every day comfort

You don't necessarily need a pop socket. You have to support the phone on your four fingers and your palm and thumb will be able to navigate across the entire screen then. It will take some time for your hand to adjust and learn if you coming from a small phone.

Don't worry, I'm a kid and I have a Oneplus 6t, really close in size to the 13 pro max and I adapted to it quickly, you'll find ways to do onehanded and all that the more you use it.

I have normal sized hands and my iPhone 10 actually hurts my hands. I used to have a 8 plus and prefer the larger size. And I don’t mind more screen and battery life

I purchased the 12 Pro Max on launch day. I came from a 6S Plus. I ended up returning it because of exactly what you mentioned. It was too heavy and I ended up fatiguing out every day from use. Add on a case and a pop socket and it’s even heavier. I’m currently waiting on an iPhone 12Pro to use as my new phone

The first few days it was heavy for me too but your muscles get used to it, it never hurts for me anymore lol. And I came from the xs Max so I was shocked to see how much heavier it was. I’m glad I got used to it, I didn’t think of returning it but I was lowkey upset at how heavy it was at first 😂

As a martial artist, I stopped using my pinky to hold up phones as it warps and stretches your pinky out of place over time. Bad for knife hand techniques and such 🤷‍♂️

Came back to comment and let you know that you need to right now have double tap on the back of the device set to scroll down. It is a game changer for all apps that have the scroll of death lol. Double tap to scroll down 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I have the 12 pro max. Upgraded from 7plus. The extra weight has caused my right hand to develop trigger finger. In my ring finger. Ugh! Wish I had bought the 12 pro instead
