iPhone 12 screen glass removal and replacement installation process to get a new screen manually. You will need to remember that you can do this manually with a complete kit for glass replacement. This process takes longer and is more complex than replacing the whole screen. This repair's difficulty is only five (8) out of ten (10). The replacement of the glass process applies to all iPhone 12 models.

Damaging these cables, especially the cable on the top, will permanently disable the face ID function. A few cleanups on the frame and the front earpiece need to be transferred to the new screen. True tone will be disabled after the new screen has been installed. Also, the screen can be damaged while removing the glass. Be careful that the shattered glass does not puncture the screen while using the wire to remove the glass.

thanks for this video! was really looking to use the ecdiy kit to repair the glass on iphone 12. now seeing your video it made me less nervous. and ideas how to to it more efficiently. do more of these repairs. these are really good for budget repairing cracks.

I have a S21 Ultra I want to replace the glass on but I always mess up the lcd because I mess up and separate between the adhesive and screen instead of between adhesive and glass. I don’t have suction machine. The OCA is type to dry in direct sunlight.

Those Samsumg phones are very hard to do it and not fail. Specially the phones with slight curve on the edge that's why I do not do the tutorial for those. If the screen is completely flat it's easier but still difficult to do it without cutting through the screen.

🤣 don't worry you don't have to subscribe. It's not a I give you give. I have lot of videos helping people for free they don't always subscribe it alright. The box I used in the start while using the wire does heat the screen to help me remove the glass easily. The other one I used to hold the phone while trying to remove the screen does not heat it only hold the phone in place while you work on the phone.

I let the device sit for a few hours then the glue naturally pushed the air bubble out and everything was good. I will come back later with another video on how to do it properly. The edges are not really glues with the loca glue. I got a two new glasses and will perform everything on. This video was a bit rough lol (it is a working solution but not an excellent repair).

You use only 70% alcohol in the cleaning, will 99.9% be ok or will it damage the screen?

Hi I would not do that. There's a small plastic on the screen it can get irritated at 99% I supposed. Even 70% you should use it as fast as possible not let the screen sit with it longer unnecessarily. I did another vid with iPhone 13 mini screen glass replacement there I had some kind of snowflakes on the screen not exactly sure why and how but I used lot more chemicals on that screens as I had issues removing the glass at the top. Here everything went as it should be.

why LOCA?

OCA requires laminating machine and pressure machine. I don't have these very expensive machines. I showed how to do it without machines thus loca is the only option. If not please let me know some other way to do it (happy to learn new things 😁)
