Yeah the stabilization of the 5x camera really is legendary, holy cow it’s good. For the iPhone 16 Pro Max, I hope for an even larger camera sensors across the board, at least for all three rear cameras. The main is already huge but you can never have too much light intake; especially for video where the noise reduction processing is much harder to accomplish. But especially the ultra wide and telephoto need larger sensors. I feel like, if there are any limitations to the 15 Pro Max camera system, it would be that 1) the telephoto could almost always have done well with more light intake for indoor shots, and 2) the ultra wide could use more pixels (48 MP anyone?)

For me, the camera quality, storage, and battery life is the priority. They need a substantial upgrade to the ultra wide lens. I end up deleting too many of them due to poor quality. I am a frequent traveler and those memories are important!

@@cristibaluta no no, it can’t. iphone has a powerful speaker on the bottom right and another one on the earpiece. But 13” macbook pro has 4 speakers which are loud and are better than ipad pro speakers, which are far better than iphones. And if you go for 14”/16” once, the 6 speaker system is a banger…!

just upgraded to a 15 pro max from a 12 pro max last week. no complaints so far but the upgrades that really felt different for me are the cameras and promotion (and smoother gameplays especially in games like honkai star rail) other than that they're pretty similar.

Switch to USB-C has been a pain for us as one would need to have all family iPhones upgraded … and we tend to get one new iphone and then hand down iPhones through the family, so it will take us few years to transition, and sharing charging cables or using cables in the car means we need two different ones and swap around

Omg, I have to deal with problems with camera almost every time I use it. I’ve had many android phones over the years and the iPhone 15 pro max is by a clear mile the buggiest phone I have ever experienced and worst of all, the only bug that was ever fixed is the update for the over heating problem! Wait for the 16 pro max, besides, it’s now that far away

Wait for the 16 Pro Max. I love my 15 Pro Max because the battery life is better than the 13 Pro Max that I got on release, but it’s given me the most issues mainly with the camera. The selfie camera doesn’t produce the best photos sometimes and the telephoto camera will sometimes have weird artifacting in my experience.

@@sorrai I legit am using a 13pro max right now and after reading this, I just wait for the 16- IF there's any real significant changes. So far my 13pm is still working just fine. I guess the 15 has some issues, going by what I've read. Hopefully the issues are worked out by the 16.

I hope you’re right about the 16 and Apple is gonna fix most issues because this year the main focus is iOS 18, so maybe Apple will work on that good enough to give us a bug-free iOS like iOS 15. Also, batteries are gonna get bigger and the 16 Pros are gonna have more power efficient n3e A18 Pro chip compared to the n3b A17 Pro chip on the 15 Pros, and a more power efficient MLA OLED screen.

I went from a 6S+ which they no longer support. So it was a big upgrade. Worth the outrageous cost (price of a laptop)? Not when I'm being blown out of the water two years later. Nothing but churn and AAPL greed. However compared to camera equipment prices and depreciation it's not a lot of money.

I have the 15 Pro Max, I'll probably wait at least 3-4 years to upgrade. It's been a great phone, other than the overheating issues it has sometimes. It doesn't disable my phone, but it prevents it from charging until it cools down. It's a normal thing, because my friends 15 Pro (non Max) does the same thing.

iPhone 16 Pro i'm ver optimistic about, but I have big expectations. If there is a way that I can reach 10,000 with the geekbench 6 multicore score , as android is threatening to reach abysmally quickly, on top of having that graphene chamber, there will be significant reaons for me to trade in. The iPhone 15 Pro i only bought because "it has the USB C port", and partially MetalFX.

I have an IPhone 13 Pro. I love the cameras, but the keyboard makes me crazy. I still have a Samsung Note 20 and I still like it better overall. So, I take photos and video with the Iphone (sharing is great on Iphone) and the Samsung for pretty much everything else.i do. So, best of both worlds and will continue doing this for as long as I need a second phone specifically for business.

I’m not knocking this phone. I have the iPhone 14+ but I don’t think I’m gonna like that new charging port mainly because I have his little plugs that I put in to the charging port that keeps lint and dirt out of it. Those won’t fit in that one besides don’t they have wireless charging anyway I don’t understand why the 15 has a charging port, I would just use the wireless charging

i used to not to like iphone, but this time they're doing it right. if iphone is now capable of running RE: village and RE: 4 remake (even if it's not full quality) but still that's a powerful one, none of android can run that. the optimization of OS also amazed me, as a user of android for 12yrs what i noticed is in iphone you don't need to tweak too much, in android you need to tweak much which is hassle.

Why the heck did you give this video the title, "Really, Apple?!" and poster image saying "Apple, c'mon." Oh, right. Clickbait. But this was much worse clickbait than usual for you. At least normally, the clickbait title actually has some context to what's in the video. This time it was totally not there. I guess saying, "It's still great!" or "the 3 still-killer features" wouldn't have gotten as many eyeballs. I like this video. 15 promax good but 15 pro is different, battery life much worse, and too many bugs hit me on 15 pro because in my case the bug laden iOS 17,5 was already pre installed.

To be honest I have the IPhone 15 I always get the base model. I am always disappointed Apply only give this model some castaways from the Pro and Max a couple of years later. Last year it was the Dynamic Island. I find that totally boring don’t even use it. It would great to get some really good updates like Titanium. Wishful thinking!

@exoinvadedmymind1006 I have the z fold not z flip. It's kinda hard to right everything (cause samsung does a lot better imo) but samsung phones just have more functionality and are more useful while iphones are just simple. It will take sometime getting used to all the things you can do so do your research. If you're worried about not having imessage there is an app called blue bubbles which allows you to do. You can find many tutorials on the install and it's pretty straight forward, only thing required is a Mac computer. It has been my main messaging app since I switched and it works amazing. When I mentioned earlier about doing your research, it's always good to restart your phone every 3-7 days (just the nature of the os). If you're tech savy you will 100% stick with android if you did try it. My phone literally opens into a tablet, no phone competes with it. One last thing I wish I knew before I switched was that don't but a samsung phone right of the bat, they have great deals around the holidays

I feel the same way about my 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 PM is just version 4 of iPhone 12PM design. With some minor improvements. I just had the Apple Store replace the old battery and my phone is working perfectly.

Apple will make their userbase so mad if they restrict new ai features to only the 16. Literally no one upgrades every year anymore so they would be trying to force a mass upgrade and it’s just not gonna happen meaning Apple AI will bomb and nobody will use it

Just don’t see that it’s enough to upgrade every year. We’ve reach a climax of hardware minus subtle changes in the camera. For Apple it’s going to be about its software. A.I. will be the key to their success but they are a bit behind already since the S24 already has several features. Rumor is Apple is relying on Google for help in their software to roll out to capable iPhones. If you have a 15 Pro Max, you’re good for 2 more years.

USB C is the de facto universal standard for all modern gadgets and devices. Don't lie to yourself. Apple is just greedy recycling lighting, so they can continue selling subpar and outdated lightning accessories to people like you. My MBP also comes with MagSafe but I never use it, I just use a ugreen 300W charger and a 150w USB C cables to charge everything from my MBP16, iPhone, airpods, iPad, switch and whatever else life throws at me. Don't kid yourself, lightning is terrible, I'm just glad apple finally switched over (even if they were forced to) it's so comforting knowing I can use a single universal cable to charge all my devices

In my opinion 14 pro max is more premium and if you have one there's almost no point to upgrade to 15 pro max. Enjoy your phone sister.

I cant say goodbye to the Black 14 Pro Max :) I like that extra weight and it is a bit thicker. My wife has the 15 Pro Max and it is great but a bit too light and thin for me. I also still have my back up phone my S21 Ultra (which is still a bad ass phone) even in 2024!

Apple are not giving upgrades most people actually care about. Almost every new feature could be followed by the words, “who cares?” The 5x camera looks interesting. The other upgrades are just blah, blah, blah that most people don’t care about.

Correction - this years “Applegate” made people really aware of battery heat and battery life. I expect to see some major improvements in that area, after all the bad press this year.

Apple's problem is not really the hardware anymore. It's all about the software now. If they can just make good updates on all the apps as they should, it will be perfect! Just a few changes here and there in the software with drastically change the way we use these devices. For instance, I hate how you can quickly edit an entry when trying to make a call unless you complete delete out the entire number just to retype again. It's absolutely bunkers!
