Great video!! my daughter's iphone lock button keeps getting stuck and a lot of the time it will take a screen shot when you hit the home button. I think this replacement will be the best way to fix that. Thank you!

Hi, at 15:16 minutes, when i get to this stage and do the 2 screws up, the button click don't work! it works if i hold it lose, but after ages of going over what you say, again soon as i tighten the screw up, no click! any reason why? Thanks :)

@Mark Anthony I usually have this problem if the cable has shifted just a little bit. The button won't center so it gets stuck. Hopefully you can reposition it so that it will work.

Anyone know the screw sizes (mm)? for volume, mute buttons and the two power/sleep button screws?

Is there anything I can do if I do not have that little black dot that lets the bottom click?, thank you

Paula Rosales If you google "iphone 4 contact switch" you can find just the clicking part itself. It's tricky to install though.

This is a pretty common problem. Even Apple had to postpone the release of the white iphone 4 because of this. Take a look here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kOCSrdF_x5PFiIE.html Also you can buy the proper foam here if you don't want to make your own gocellphonerepair.com/proximity-sensor-foam/
