Igor i went from a 6s to a xr and believe me, at first i was super pissed that im not getting 3d touch but then i found out that you can enable text cursor by long pressing spacebar and 80% of my problems were solved and then ios 13 dropped and now simulates almost every single function of 3d touch, so thats 95% of all features covered and for only a FRACTION of the cost what is left there to miss ?

I'm upgrading from an iPhone 3G which I got brand-new in 2008, as a gift from my parents for my first-year of high-school, to the 6S+ today in 2015 as a first-year Uni student. I've had that phone for nearly 8 years now, and it's sad to see it go. It's been a wild ride friend, but time to say goodbye...

On the iPhone X it comes with a headphone jack but you plug it into the charger.

Really man? Move on it's a 100 year old port, the audio quality is not great. Adapters are 9 bucks, don't stick with an outdated phone just because you have one pair of bad headphones that won't work with it

I’ve just been rebuying this exact phone over and over for the past 4 years. Can still get them sealed off ebay for sub $250, relieves so much of the stress from carrying around an expensive phone knowing I can just replace it without breaking the bank.

@@sp3ckedout224 yessir. Haptic Touch is decent. But 3D touch was quicker and the feedback on applying more pressure was nice for me. Gave some personality to the screen. It was quite handy in control center, picture preview and some other apps. While it’s feature has been repurposed, 3D Touch was still nice. I guess the cost to benefit ratio didn’t make sense so they thought better to remove it.

The iPhone 6s was honestly one of my favorite iPhones It was my first so wasn’t that hard My only real complaint is they pushed the phone way past its limits It should’ve been put to rest a year or so sooner

Not really, still have my iPhone SE1 with a 76% battery health and it still runs decently fast. I'm impressed with iOS 15 on the SE1 (Which is the 6S but in a 5S body.)

maybe you're just a casual phone user. I'm a heavy power user and I can kill an iPhone battery before dinner time. Right now I have a Droid Turbo which is supposed to have 48 hour battery life and it only lasts me till midnight the first night. I am literally on my phone all day though. Browsing, taking pictures, playing games, and watching a few hours of video.

My iPhone 6s plus still works perfectly, and does everything it needs to do for me and does that quickly enough. When the iPhone 13 comes out, I will probably buy it because most likely the updates for the 6s plus will then stop. Then I had a very good smartphone for 6 years. Apple, you might pay a little more, but if you keep a device for 6 years, you have full software support for all those years, which you cannot say about android. If you sell an apple product such as an iPhone or a mac after, for example, 2-3-4 years, you still get a very good price second-hand, something you cannot say at all about an android phone or windows pc.

I had a 5s too, it is worth the upgrade and the wait. I'd suggest going for the plus. I bought a gold 60something gb 6s and while it is bigger i should have gotten the plus. Smh. I have small hands, for a guy, so i can't really one hand text anymore. In hindsight, the plus was the way to go if it meant no more one hand texting, which I'm stuck with now. lol.

I got a 6s last night but the STUPID GUY AT THE STORE messed up and switched me and my moms numbers, so now my mom took both to work because all of her stuff is on my phone, and we are getting them fixed later today. Wish me luck!

Personally I don’t really use Live Photos in my daily life, but I do have a couple of really special Live Photos of my dog. She passed away in May and having her set as my homescreen with the Live Photo makes it easy to always have a piece of her with me.

Just got this phone yesterday after being with my 4s for 3+ years. It was sad to see her go, we basically went through my entire college career together. But man, does it feel good to finally have a phone that works smoothly again. Btw, I wasn't sure if I was the only one that noticed how fast the Touch ID was. Sometimes I just press the home button to check the time and I'm already signed into the phone lol.

I think you should not get the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. There isn't much of a upgrade other then the camera, plus they are also removing the headphone jack. I got a 6s Plus like 3 weeks ago and I'm not regretting it one bit.

I can't say that I prefer apple or android because I find myself switching back and forth quite frequently, but I am an android fan at heart. Apple is too common, somewhat boring but definitely a smooth OS. I just can't stand the attitude of some Apple users. JUST CAUSE YOU USE AN IPHONE DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE MONEYS!!

I’m happy I have a 6s with a TSMC chip. I have 2000+ photos on it and dropped it in water 2x. Went through iOS 10, 11, and 12 betas. The iOS 12 beta makes my iPhone feel new again. I kind of disappointed that I didn’t get the plus model. My iPhone is still very capable. I going to use this iPhone until it dies completely. I have to replace my battery soon. Most importantly, My iPhone is a little bit faster than the iPhone X. The pictures are good enough. I’d get a Note9 but... this iPhone is the best iPhone I’ve had and is still very capable.

I am still using an iPhone 6s, with updated Facebook, messenger, Everdale (by Supercell), Binance, Pi, and halide camera installed- and it is still smooth. Im loving my 6s and my Ipad Pro 11, 3rd gen! I just rather buy an Ipad instead of a new Iphone, same price but with a bigger screen.

I really like the new viewfinder because of one reason, its miles faster to close down apps, even on the 4s. Just drag up multiple percent times as fast as you can and you'll actually close down apps with every swipe, compared to the old ones where i had to wait.
