Great review. Glad you actually tried out all of the phone’s features unlike other reviewers and showed that the SE can do everything newer phones can do, albeit it a little bit worse. I am using an SE to post this message and have been enjoying this phone so much I am going to keep it as my daily driver. I have a battery case & replaced old phone battery also so I get over 12 hours of screen on time which is more than anyone will ever need.

I was always a Samsung fan because I think that Samsung has the best and most complete experience out of any brand, but I always made sure to have the 1st gen SE as my secondary phone because of how compact it is. Great for a secondary device that you can use as a music player. Just make sure to get the 64 or 128 gb version.

The 13 mini is just slightly larger than this, and is smaller than the iPhone 6. And it’s such an amazing phone I love it

Used this for almost 3 years. Solid phone and despite the negative points anyone mention. It does the work. Not upgraded to an XR and a 7 as secondary one. #applefanboy

Still using my 1st gen SE as well. I also have an SE-2020, SE-2022, and 13-Mini. My sim card is in my 1st Gen SE. I still love it!!!!

i find 2nd hand of iphone se 16gb 700 turkish liras, it's good. normally iphone se is 1300-1400 turkish liras. actually i was looking for 5s and it's 500-800 turkish liras. so do i need buy that se? is it worth?

Just bought one 2 months ago. 1st iPhone, great one-handed device and now it's not getting another update. Works better than I thought, to be honest. Prefer Android over iPhone any day of the week

I still love it, too -- and use it as my daily driver! I do also have an SE-2022, which is nice; but there's nothing like the excellent power-to-size ratio of my little iPhone SE 1st gen 2016.

@@ramondelgado6778Hi, Ramon. No, not on my daily driver. But this is my 3rd iPhone SE 2016 daily driver because others got wet, dropped/shattered, or whatever. I've bought all my iPhones refurbished from Amazon. Battery health usually comes in at between 90% and 95%. Right now on this phone it's 86%. So it's time to replace the battery. I bought a higher capacity non-OEM battery on Amazon that works real well on one of my spares (battery was replaced by an independent cell phone repair shop). Makes a big difference, so I'm looking forward to that benefit when I replace the one on my current daily driver.

I have meet up by tomorrow to buy an iPhone se 1st gen 2nd hand with box and case only. But he selling me as low price at 3,200 pesos philippine money. And i’m so glad finally on this late 2022 i have ipse 1st gen rosegold 64gb fully paid 😂. It’s affordable price for me.

I see that 10K is a lot for the first month, I have to do something, I have to move since there are opportunities. If I don't do anything, the money is there, time must be observed. I want something to hold, so that it can be easier for me in the coming months. Iphone SE will save 2K, which is more than 1.5k for Iphone 5s made in 2013, SE is 2016. I can't purchase a phone higher than 13K, due to my salary, we are not at Optica Limited yet, let me learn how to use it Iphone SE, I wanted 5s but if it's not new, then it's not better deal. You have to balance, expenditures or desires can't be more than 50% of the Allowances or fund. I will confirm mid next month, I am patient when it comes to money. I take my time.

Love the original SE, I’d still get one and use in ‘24. No problem. People who get new phones every single year are insane. I never upgrade. Like every 5+ years or something. I hate getting new everything and spending so much money.

Me too (Black 32gb). Got one with a 100% battery, for only 10% of the price of a new iPhone 13 mini. For that price, it's worth it. Although SE 1st gen is not getting iOS 16, Apple are still doing small security updates (iOS 15.7.1 is the latest). So hopefully it'll be good for another year or two.

If you replace the battery it would give you about 5 to 6 hours of screen time but it also depends on what apps you use. I had to replace mine because the 6 year battery is dying but considering it lasted that long is still impressive. You also have to remember it has a 1600mah battery and it's actually impressive the SE is able to utilize a battery that small to run for a good amount of time.

Yes, I forgot to add the PUBG video gameplay but it can run PUBG. Graphics can be set up until HD and Framerate up until High. 👍
