The only thing that matters to me is sound quality. When it comes to sound the airpods aren't even close to the B and Os.

The white colour is what I don’t like about the AirPods, they just look goofy hanging from your ear. Beoplay Ex are a lot more subtle.

Just got a pair for 300 on sale and their absolutely amazing for being wireless. Ive had MANY wired earbuds that aren't even close to these in terms of quality and the volume is super loud which is great because with anc, the "comppfy" foam tips or however theyre spelled is a good enough combo for me to take to the range with almost all guns. Audiophile appoved and they're ip57 so theyre great for working out and doing tough stuff, especially with the 3 year manufactures warranty, the terms and conditions seem pretty lax.

@Mandy Lion oh yeah i definitely got a deal but for some reason i always thought brands like shure and the likes would be much better than these because of the price and ascetics but SERIOUSLY, these are better and louder than any wired or wireless earbuds unless they connected to a dac with a built in amp (thats my gaming setup, astro tr pro amp/dac with hyperx headphones) thats the only way to get more bass and vibrancy from all ranges and its a cumbersome setup on the move but it CAN work however the beoplay ex DESTROYS all the options even for shooting comparing them to the axil extreme shooting earbuds. These demolish every category except anc (bose has the one quietcomfort pair thats like being in a deprivation tank 😅 so they win that one).

@austinporter4285 I agree with everything you said. To me anc isn't important because one can always turn up the music to drown out any noise that might be bothering you. In my opinion headphones and earbuds have but one job... deliver the best sound PERIOD. All of these other gimmicks don't mean anything to me. Just like anc when it comes to transparency mode is pointless to me... if I'm in a situation where I need to hear my surroundings I just don't wear earbuds. And if I need to talk to someone and lifting my arm to take one earbud out is too much effort then my life is going to be crap anyway since I don't have the drive to succeed at anything. Sound quality is everything when it comes to earbuds unless your ears can't tell the difference between a good and a crappy sound which... let's be honest... describes every apple enthusiast out there. They can't hear the difference. They can't even tell that apple, for the most part, is about 4 years behind in most categories. Airpods are the sonic equivalent of a microwave oven... convenient and quick but the food (music) tastes (sounds) like crap. Glad the B&Os are working out for you brother.

Great video! That's the review I was waiting for, thank you! I have an iPhone and, thanks to this video, I understood that the features that I would get from the Airpods Pro 2 are not as important as the sound quality that I would get from the Beoplay EX... So I think I will go for the Ex. Sound quality means too much to me.

Hmm, I currently have Beoplay H95 as my primary headphones. But I'll need a new pair of earbuds, since my airpods pro just died after 34 months of use. I'll just get them for sleeping and for when I'm not carrying around overears. I guess I'll go with the AirPods Pro 2, I know they are very comfortable in my ears, and that's really what most important.

that’s why i hv b&o EQ & ap3 on the go. different function. EQ / Ex sure for music. ( tried ap pro1, the sound is dead/ digital, no fun at all, finally lost my left one 😢). using Eq thinking of upgrade to EX would be nice move 😂

yeah very good point. Also worth mentioning that the AirPods pro 2's case is iPx4 rated. I dont think I have seen that on many other earbud's case

Just got ex and connected done with my iPhone 14; however, took a few attempts to connect to Apple ultra watch 2 and when playing from watch, connection kept going in and out. Any thoughts please?

The AirPods Pro 2 have amazing mics for phone calls, I tried rustling papers and being outside in the wind, and nobody could hear a thing. I kept asking do you hear that, I'd be in 20mph wind, and everyone's like no you sound crystal clear like you're in your office. For me that as the biggest factor. My understanding is the B&Os have great mics but they don't handle wind or block out noise quite as well. And the spatial sound mode is amazing. When you turn your head it really feels like you're at a concert. If you spin your chair around it sounds like it's coming from behind you. Now pair the spatial sound with a Dolby Atmos rated song on Apple Music and the experience is just amazing.

Hello, guys I’m b&o ex user and i can say that the sound quality is superb. I mean it’s a different story to me. I tried Airpods 1 and 2 pro, also Galaxy Buds 2 Pro but nothing is even close to theirs sounds. But i see some other pluses for Airpods since i’m in Apple ecosystem as Siri, better noice cancelling, more comfortable to me in general and much better and quicker service at least in my country.

I have actually received excellent service from B&o as well. Partly because when I walk into their Sydney store its always empty. And when I go to the Apple store there is always a big line.

Well i’m from Lithuania and Apple has local and authorized service here different from b&o so i needed to sent them to other country via UPS and it took some time for sending them back.😇

@@MrPovilytis Hey! I’m considering these B&O earbuds and have a few questions: 1. How is your the experience with B&O EX after all the software updates? 2. Is ANC on Airpods Pro 2 much better? Is the difference very noticeable? Like if a person cares about ANC you would not recommend them? 3. Do you experience any connectivity issues with B&Os? I read a lot of feedback complaining that connectivity is very unstable.

@Privé Privé you must have a defective pair then. Ive put mine through hell and they're still as good as new and they sound better than any wireless earbuds i own and most wireless headphones.

Hey, what about when you're outside? Does the sound quality worsen on the EX? I hear that the noise cancelling on them leaves a lot to be desired, that every little sound from the outside disrupts sound quality significantly and that the only way somehow counter that is to bump up the volmue to over 90% in an attempt to block out the noise. Is it really that bad? What's your take on that?

I think I will go with the airpods pro 2. I like the features you get if you have apple devices plus I really value the microphone quality since I do a lot of zoom calls. I am also forgetful so the precision finding is another great deal.

Thanks for the review. But, there’s one feature that I think Air pods pro 2 outshines EX B&O: voice assistant. Ex are not equipped with voice assistant and that’s really depressing for eye-watering price of $450.

oh yes, agree with you 100%. Siri gets a huge boost with the new H2 chip inside. I dont use this feature much often but it is really helpful when both hands are busy

Beoplay Ex are way better than the AirPods Pro 2, yes they’re more expensive but you get what you pay for. The colour was the main selling point for me, the white colour of the AirPods Pro stands out way too much.

There’s multiple areas they aren’t better in, and the AirPods Pro 2 sound great.. the B&W Pi7 s2 sound better than the EX.. but they don’t have the features of the AirPods 2. And noise canceling can be a big deal if your listening to music in public. Doesn’t matter how good they sound if your sound is muddied out by your environment because of mid noise cancellation.. especially at $400..

@@hridayshah7083 I can honestly recommend the AirPods as the apple ecosystem is #1 for me and works near perfectly I would DEFINITELY recommend the AirPods Pro 2 if you have an iPHONE TRUST ME ITS WORTH IT!! but for other buds idk bro apples AirPods seem to be the best out for functionality tbh

For iPhone the airpods pro will beat anything. Apple make their airpods work really well with apple music.

I have an iPhone 📱 and I love it but there’s no way in HELL that I would purchase their AirPods Pro or any of their earbuds like Beats which they’ve tuned down their bass. I don’t care about ANC , wireless charging or transparency mode etc. All I want from my earbuds is a punchy bass I can actually feel and crisp treble with good separation and clear vocals. Based on some of the reviews the AirPods lack volume and bass compared to other earbuds in the same price point and below.

Though I use the AirPods Pros and Max just because of the convenience of being in the apple ecosystem, I also would not recommend them if you are after sound quality. For volume and punchy bass try the PI7 S2

If Toy*ta sell a airplane, will you campare with airb*ush, if B&O sell a cell phone will you compare with Apple or samsung There are a reason why Transparany and ANC, not kick off to your ear. Soundquality, SAFETY etc. You now how to chose!

I love the premium look of the beoplay ex especially their new ferrari edition but unfortunately (and thankfully) after watching this review and reading some comments its clear that apple seems to be the better choice especially since their integration in their eco-system is just flawless. Its just that i wanted to like the beoplay so much bc every idiot has airpods now basically. Yes i like sound quality and the eco system isnt even that compelling for me but since the battery life is very lackluster (i mean cmon at least throw in a 10 min charge to 50% or something man cant have airpods destroying you that badly) plus the mic sounds aids im sorry… there isnt much left to like about them. Pricevide they are pretty identical in my currency but still. Man i really hoped these were underdogs to give apple some good competition nut they only maxed out the sound stat and left everything else to rot sadly.
