I have dropped my iPhone 5S and 6 with my Tech21 cases a few times and Tech21's technology has always worked and saved my phone! They're the only case brand I trust, the only downside to their cases are that pressing the power and the volume buttons takes a lot of force, but eventually you get used to it.

If you buy a $1000 dollar phone you will most likely get a case.. I’ve had the 5s since 2013 and I’ve never gone a week without dropping it. However, the screen never touches the ground because of the case, so it has never ever broken and works perfectly, and with a stainless steel border, the X will be even more durable than my phone.

Potato what's shameful about that is the only difference between the $750 iPhone 8 and iPhone X is the display and OIS rear camera. You're not getting $250 more phone.

Uran [AM] considering that it has to render twice as many frames as a 60 Hz display and display them, vs an oled that will be limited in frame rate, while the touch response will be just as high on the iPhone, anyone who games knows that it requires serious CPU and GPU to not stutter at those higher resolutions. For that smooth response you need to output 120hz, not just receive it. The way forward will be like every gaming PC out there with a monster GPU to accommodate the graphics. So that is truly what will be in question and will likely be the limiting factor.

mehdi man-utd it’s so beautiful though, that gold color 😍 the samsung galaxy’s glass back and the screen is very shattered on my friend’s phone, but that’s because he never wears a case. With a case iPhone 8/+ will survive for years

polk troopa old hardware + latest software = slower performance. That’s like running win 10 on a laptop from 2009 & expecting it to perform smoothly. Common sense, guys. However, iPhone 5S seems to be a little bit faster on iOS 10 & 11 than on iOS 7.
