Follow this video to disassemble iPhone XS. You can replace cameras, battery, earpiece, speaker and other inbuilt devices. The inner structure of iPhone XS is complicated and it is difficult to repair. There are more than 50 screws inside the phone and each screw is slightly different. We need to remember all the positions of the screws when we reassemble the phone.
During the disassembly, I found that the display screen and the battery of iPhone X and XS are compatible with each other. Maybe we can find a way to upgrade your iPhone x to XS. It is quite easy to remove the battery cover and the OLED screen. If you got a broken iPhone XS, you can watch this video and fix the handset by yourself.

Wit Rigs I tend to tell people that there phones are not waterproof because it only states water residents witch is not waterproof so I don’t recommend people going swimming with there phones

No, because the 11 uses a tft screen and the XS uses an OLED screen.

Don’t understand why the battery got smaller if the mother board got smaller (due to the 7 nanometer chip) there would be more space for the battery but something else caused it to shrink

li ion batteries need some space to expand when they are used and get hot. If there is not enough space for this the battery may get damaged. Happened to Samsung Note 7 where batteries caught fire because they did not have enough space.

After swapping everything into a new housing my volume up/down buttons do not work the phone is lagging Touch ID does not work properly and phone keeps turning off any help would be appreciated thanks

Sounds like a bad motherboard/logic board or you may have something snapped down into place the wrong way or could be a screw not in the correct spot. I would disassemble it and try again

They’re not comparable. It caused it to boot loop, the earpiece are different which causes the screen to not fit prob

Also it’s the only iPhone with a Roman numeral as the generation number, all the others have modern numbers so it’s not that shocking that many people call it “X” and “XS” instead of “10” and “10S” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Not only that, but the X came out before the 8 didn’t it?

Why they made the real L shaped battery in XS, and yet the battery is actually smaller?

They had to make the corners rounded to avoid the cells pinching each other and causing what happened to the Note 7 (thermal runaway and battery fires).

Reason camera didn’t work because you replaced whole camera assembly with dot projector that’s why camera didn’t work.
