I followed all the steps and did everything carefully, the only step I skipped was taking off the vibration mechanism. Taking out all the parts makes it simple to work on the speaker bit, either way I did everything in a half hour and I've finally got a speaker on my phone! THANKS for the guide!

You don't have to remove the mother board just the battery and the screws holding the speaker down. I just fixed mine in like 2 min. Its a small trick I figured out.

OVERKILL STEPS!! I agree. I only removed the first 6 screws and able to remove the speaker. But anyways, thanks for the tutorial.

DON'T TAKE IT ALL APART!!! Six screws total, five minutes. Remove two pentalobe screws and take off the back cover. Remove two #00 Philips screws holding the ribbon cable connector on the ribbon cable going down the the left edge of the speaker. Don't remove the battery. Lift off the ribbon cable from the connector and raise it 90 degrees to allow the speaker to come out. Remove the antenna snap connector. Remove two screws holding in the speaker, these are longer than the previous two. Lift out the speaker. Put in the new speaker and follow the steps in reverse.

Bad tutorial. You only need to disassemble the bottom part where the speakers sits

I'm watching this video as I'm getting my speakers fixed but I might be able to have a new phone but I have till wait till next July and I don't want them to completed mess it up and fix it and ruin something else😕

dude.... these things are designed a certain way. In order to access the bottom you need to remove the motherboard cover and many other things if you haven't noticed. Please do try to take out the loudspeaker without removing everything else.

so many totally irrelevant steps, ive JUST put in a new Wi-Fi antenna in mine and the same thing happened on that video, dissasamble the WHOLE phone to get to the part right at the top which is CLEARLY visible without even removal of the battery ........ !! plenty of care needed of course but not all this extra work !!
