London city council seriously need to have a word with these tour guides about explaining how to conduct themselves around the Kings Guards and their horses before they get there . This was a ridiculous situation that shouldn’t happen if tour guides made it clear at the start of the tour. They don’t realise how privileged they are to get so close to the Guards & Their Horses , I still remember what happened to those poor horses and guards of the Blues & Royals that were blown up in Hide Park by the IRA , and we have more terrorists threats now than back when that happened. Tourism may be paramount to London, but so is the safety of those Guards & Horses
@patriciadavis25064 ай бұрын
Not all tourists are with a tour guide, but most people stand & watch them, before going near to stroke the horse, perhaps they don't realise, when the guard shouts or pulls the reins, he's talking to everyone, not just the person he's shouting at!
@BetFarmer-te2lf3 ай бұрын

Thank you guard for protecting your beautiful horse 💖and thank you policeman for spelling out the danger of grabbing the reins and making it clear why not! 💖 In fact where is the sign? Poor horse looks so fed up. The signs should say do not touch the Reins, Guard or horse. Why do these idiots insist on rubbing the horses nose and face horses don't like it, the prefer to be stroked gently on the neck, many a time they have nearly blinded the horse and made their nose bleed by putting their finger up their nostrils. as an animal lover especially a horse lover and having worked with them I know when they are unhappy and stressed beyond stressed I think these things are totally unacceptable on all levels.😡
