Malort was created by a Swedish immigrant, and he basically recreated the traditional Swedish alcohol "Bäska Droppar". Bäska Droppar and many other varieties or wormwood alcohol are still for sale in Sweden, Denmark and other European countries. Both my dad and my brother make their own, which is way worse than the Jeppsons I've tried...

Probably made by some collage kid from New York. While on spring break in Cancún Mexico. I actually tried to look up the drink but all I was getting was recipes for a Nebraska Sunrise cocktail drink.

I am from Omaha, Nebraska and I am so impressed that Dermot named two cities in Nebraska so easily. Lots of Irish in South Omaha. Dates back to the UP railroad and the stockyards. Family name is Corcoran, btw.

A million years ago some friends concocted what they called "Elevator to Hell". It's Absolut Peppar (black pepper vodka) and tabasco. The upside is it makes you drink a lot of water. Good shot to end with.

I thought Pepar was a chili pepper vodka? I've had friends on multiple occasions try to surprise me with that one :D I make black pepper infused vodka all the time. Makes a killer bloody Mary, but it goes awesome in marinara and I kind of like the flavor by itself :)
