This is why my boy became a welder right out of high school.

I love doing gate repairs. Honestly I love all the repairs especially aluminum work. I did a mobile aluminum tank repair yesterday with a bobcat and 252 Miller with the spool out of my old Dhl van

Iron workers union started in Chicago.....I'm a retired union welder/fabricator....primarily repair jobs of all kinds of commercial construction stuff and fabrication of concrete pumping systems...it paid well and we pumped up our retirement fund with like $10hr back then...now it's like $16 an hour JUST ON THE PENSION FUND! Spend your money you earn wisely...I bought rental property but way too many construction guys in Vegas got stupid on strippers, meth, coke and alcohol.....PEOPLE DON'T MAKE MONEY.....MONEY MAKES MONEY...invest wisely!

I’m so glad I learned how to weld/fabricate it gave me many solutions to building with all kinds of materials. My rates have skyrocketed the last 3 1/2 years. And it’s was about time since everything is 3 times as much. So I can see rates climbing till you tube crashes. 👍🏼

I work with nurses that got laid off as welders. Your location is very important when it comes to the trades.

Tip. You can always tell a professional. B/c he makes it look effortless and they have a ton of tools that are not their dads. Like watching a hockey match and forgetting they are skating.

Some of these trades you used to have to know someone or get on a years long waiting list and now they are begging people to come and work. A lot has changed.

Union sheet metal worker out in Philly 57.31 on the check 107 total package with another raise comings in May. Tons of work and like he said so many people have no idea the kinda of money being made in the trades and also the benefits,annuity,pension. And it’s not just union! Union or non union if you have a skilled trade there’s plenty of money to be made

If we don’t get the youngsters in who’s going to pay our pension payments ? Get the word out. No school debt from feelings classes. Do a trade school and feed a family or a hobby.
@iantripps11 ай бұрын
The money we pay into the pension is supposed to be invested for our retirement. The money isn't supposed to go in the front door and out the back. That's a Ponzi scheme.
@DogtownOutlaw11 ай бұрын
Not interested in My kid paying someone else's Pensions. 😂 Yoy just gave a Example of Why not to do a trade... maybe Not speak so much. Use that time to get a hobby that helps cover your bills rather then count on a pension since for some reason your Union didn't teach most how to invest properly..
