I've been a longtime Connor fan since 2016 and I'm not sure if people would remember this but he's made a video about his experience with a girl called Allie who had a condition that didn't guarantee if she would live a long life, where her condition could worsen at any time. Hearing this clip made me remember the emotions Connor had when talking about that girl. He has a very soft spot for people who lost the health gacha in life to the point where he cried on camera. so in my life due to my situaiton in life and understood the path my life would most likely take due to genetics. i decided to have real close friends i can be honest with and truly care ina deeper sense and keep those people around as long as life allows it. it caused me to not have to worry about saying something that could make a wrong turn because a "friend" just decides fuck it over a judgement issues or anything. i have 1 best friend from kindergarten whos like a sister to me, my 3 friends from age 7thn, 8th and 9th grade. 1 mother person who i met later in life and she treated me like a family member nearly instantly due to having that kind of connection instantly. i just kept it that way. it made life a lot easier

I'm lucky to say I've managed to find (at least) 3 friends like that in my life. This is probably TMI but it is positive so I'll say it anyway (nobody going to read this lol) I'm forever grateful for finding said friends as they have literally saved my life. I've been struggling with some mental issues for a while now but one of the main reasons I can confidently say that things got better and that I'm sure I'll will never do *it* is because of how wonderful they've been to me, so even if it all goes bad again and I lost the little bit of self-worth I've managed to build for myself in recent times I don't believe I'd be able to "hurt" myself just out of consideration for them, they've helped me so much in the last few years that it would be extremely ungrateful from my part to just throw it all away.

Thanks to ironmouse alooot of people got educated on such conditions. I hope there will be better treatments for her and for people who are effected by such conditions!
@kyradreamer47695 ай бұрын
I think it's also really important in the wake of covid because a lot of people are suffering from conditions chalked up to a vague "chronic inflammation" and there's loads of new cases of mast cell disease and histamine intolerance and i believe fibromyalgia and pots as well post covid. Chronic illnesses in general are so poorly understood, especially ones that disproportionately affect women. It's actually really interesting that there's conflicting data on which sex has more chronic illnesses, because a lot of things say men get chronic conditions earlier and have more of them, but there's substantial evidence it takes women literal years later to get the same diagnosis as men, so getting accurate statistics becomes even harder. I say this from both a point of genuine interest, but also frustration with the medical system that i think a lot of chronically ill people have. But as a chronically ill person myself, normalization of chronic illnesses socially is also incredible too.

I honestly feel connor would take mouses sickness onto himself to give mouse the freedom to do anything she hasn't been able to do

It was insanely adorable when Conner said that he and mouse were a team and mouse excitedly yelled “WE’RE A TEAM!!!” that was cute.

idk i like feel the way she said it like in 1:44 .... idk why but i just feel how she said that in this exact moment... i really wish them both the best truly... i follow both of 'em for 3+ years now but i never had a moment where i felt the word of them as much as this one.
