Congrats man, I on the other hand got sick at 15 lol. Some kind of chronic post-covid fatigue I guess (caught it in early '21), not severe enough to be bedridden or even for me to actually go through the trouble to get it thoroughly diagnosed (don't want to burden my ma), but enough to feel like a dead man walking most days. I'm hoping I can at least enjoy my young adulthood before it slips away.

I'm right there with you mouse. Sickness took my mom from me 6 years ago She developed the Auto immune disease Myasthenia Gravis and I still remember when the initial symptoms started; about mid summer she started having double vision and trouble driving and this persisted for months until shortly after after chirstmas she was taken to the hospital and MISDIAGNOSED and nearly killed only to be rushed and saved and properly diagnosed at Duke. This disorder eats away at the muscle and my mom went from some 170 pounds to right around 120 in the span of a week. She went from eating normally to now having a sleuth of allergies to food and medicines and even had to take certain chemo drugs to suppress her immune system from nuking the rest of her body. Sadly, on March 3rd her heart couldn't take it anymore and stopped and the last words I heard from her was her calling me that morning and saying she thinks she passed out. Even now so many years later I can almost perfectly recall that moment, when she slumped back in the floor and her chest stopped moving. I pray the day mouse and Connor get that beer happens; because if it does then that means disorders like my moms will be all the closer to being figured out, cured and hopefully eradicated.

As a person who works in the social field related to helping the disabled, I have to give Ironmouse credit. She is one of those personalities that inspired me to go there and understand that my place is still there, which is also extremely important. Work, of course, is not one of gratitude, but people who are really grateful to you, and you see the result of your work, that you have improved their life at least a little, it's very fucking nice. Ironmouse should be seem not as just a streamer, i think her story is a life lesson that not many people can see throught their lowest moments: no matter how low you find yourself, as long as you are alive, you still have a chance. You still have a chance to rise. And no matter how little this chance is, if we want this possibility to be actualised in the real world, we should live for it. That is inspirational.

Your feelings and desires to be a KZfaqr are SO similar to my own. I have a neurological condition. I spent high school and all my early 20s alone and in bed and sick all the time. I was lonely and made this channel originally to talk to other Nintendo/anime fans about gaming news and stuff. I literally had no friends and it was the only way I knew how to reach out. 8 years later, and my channel has brought me more than I ever hoped it would bring me. I’m now happy, have a job I can do with my awful health, and have people in my life who love me and understand me. I’m so happy shes reached that happiness for yourself as well

Even when I don't use them they still are blocked off a bit. I live in so much pain that it's very hard to do anything. I can't walk much and I spend lots of time in bed doing nothing. I did the same as her, I wanted to stream so I wasn't so lonely because I want to talk with people. I want to make people laugh and smile because I know what it is like to feel nothing and just be sad all the time. I don't get views are anything but I still try. The universe took it away, but it was always yours to have and part of caring for someone is wanting them to have what is owed to them. You thank us for hanging out with you, but you forget that you are hanging out with us as well. You have paid us back every step of the way, and have even paid it forward by hosting charities to help others dealing with the same stuff. its weird looking back at ironmouse clips and realising she is one of the reasons you were able to push yourself to go to university even though you have a chronic fatigue problem and a myriad of mental and physical issues and illnesses. when she said 'this cant be it' it hit me so hard because this is how i felt all of my disabled life, its the desperate clawing to something more that shows us that we are still human that we are still worth something to ourselves, what mouse has to go through on a daily basis is way worse than anything I have to deal with in a year, i am able bodied to an extent and I have a lot of blessings but it still gets very hard when it hits a low, but knowing that someone is still strong enough to fight gives people like me the confidence to also fight, fight for a better life one day at a time. I’ve never watched Mouse but this clip really leaves me a good impression on her, especially she’ve proved to me this one thing in this clip (ty for the clipper too!) Someone tells me about the stream-viewer relationship as a mutual support. I didn’t know how it works as well as didn’t believe something so beautiful like that could happen between strangers through the internet. I thought that us fans/ viewers were the only one who actually received so much from our favorite streamers, our dear oshis. But it seems to be wrong, fans are also someone to make streamer realizes what they can do, what value they can bring that they’ve never really discovered it about themself, without the help of fans. Mouse’s case really helps me to understand how the illustration looks this, this bond is incredibly so precious and miracle. Thank you so much for sharing your story Mouse and thank you for clipping this!! Even if I’m not a fan, just by being yourself already helps a stranger (:3 Wish her all the best things haha 🌷🌷🌷💕💕

I could barely get through this video, had me emotional when she was talking about how she was laying in bed thinking “is this it, I haven’t done anything with my life” god that just made me so sad :/ I’m so happy she found friends like Connor, nyan, aethel, all her other Vtuber friends etc. friends that are always there for her. Having a condition like she does weighs on your mental so much and thinking negative thoughts all the time believe it or not actually can affect your actual health. It’s just nice to know she found people that she can connect with and they treat her like just another regular person

Its so crazy how life can change for the better for some of the world’s most beaten down people. I love to see this, through watching Connor I became a fan of Mouse and I’m glad I am. Although I cant imagine how hard its been for her but a lot of what she said has resonated with me in a different way and really motivates me to keep going. I hope I get to meet her one day and tell her on behalf of the fans that she is amazing and she does enough for us all.

And this is why she’s my favorite Vtuber 🥺 she deserves this so much and she’s so sweet and genuine and kind 🩷💕 and as a fellow Hispanic it makes me so proud to see her achieve goal after goal and not only that the immense strength she has to keep going every day and not letting her sickness or anything take her down ❤️ we love you Mousey 🥺 and the only way to repay us is you to keep getting healthier and happier and achieving more goals 🫂 that’s all I want from you. Te queremos un montón, linda🥺🤍🤍🤍

When I was younger I got diagnosed with epilepsy and was in ANF out of the hospital and lost a lot in my life and still can’t do a lot of things because of it so I get the feeling of feeling like I can’t/havnt done anything with my life disorders can make you feel very isolated and it’s awful no one deserves to be sick or alone
