the same tbing happened to me with the crank plate it was pain in the ass had to trouble shoot my car 2 hours into i figured it out

I have the JDL UEL header plus downpipe, to gruppe-s overpipe, invidia resonated front pipe to Tomei catback

you mentioned needing a clutch to run a turbo setup. I'm pretty new to the modding scene Does that include autos too? Cuz I have no idea how to swap the clutch in an auto.

my brz was turbo for 70k miles and since like 2016 my oil pump failed only failer ive had recommend doing a oil cooler and catch can setup

@@TrevorShrier current making 280 on 5 pounds I recommend a .50 trim turbo atleast a precision or a Garrett so close to 330 340 to the crank it's all u really need after 320 your spinning wheels and rods bend with e85

@@dbgetsblocks9713 nice nice I went with the Gtx2860r II and have stuck with 7psi on flex e85, no clue what the numbers are but it definitely gets down pretty good lol, still tempting to try 10 or 12psi but that’ll be after I have a spare engine ready

Boosted mine at 130k. 165k now, only issue i had so far is my timing belt failing. Just get a safe tune, good clutch, oil cooler, catch can

Kinda confusing, is this a jdl kit vs any other kit? Or is it a turbo kit vs build your own kit? Or boosting your car or staying n/a? Was hoping to hear from experience with other kits vs maybe online reviews or comments etc..

n/a is the must reliable and most predictable. just build the engine internals up and you can free up a lot of power by lightening up all rotating parts. the faster and freer an N/A can run the better.. unfortunately too much info to actually put here 😅 i would suggest improving the cars capabilities first, get every last brace you can get your hands on, do research and find ones that you really like... trd door stabilizers are amazing... anything to make the car take high speed better... after all, there is no point to all that power, if you can't enjoy it at speed.
