I really liked his arguement of radical individualism abusing the freedoms we have as a "license" no questions asked. People are hedonistic and want to control the public spaces so they can be "equal results" (equal respect for gay marriage as with heterosexual marriage for example) not "equal opportunity" (get married but laws dont apply to change attitudes or preferences for gays) Especially in the realm of the government trying to legislate morals and not conduct legitimately public but increasingly private matters.

His words are even more pertinent now.

The students were right to protest the Vietnam War. They knew that the rich elite were dodging the draft. They knew American young solders were dying for nothing. I will research what if anything this SOB had to say about moral decay during the 2008 financial crash.

I've moved waaay right of my previous positions but, Bork's kind, I still hate them so much.

Sour grapes²!!! While listening to this man speak I'm applying another set of realities in my mind, is he aware of the indigenous Indian populations when he says such things, is he aware of what has been done to Chinese, Hispanics, and blacks in this country? I think he is possessed of glaring blind spots, he has made himself unaware of or which he doesn't wish to address or deal with, fortunately or unfortunately his time in this life is over he has passed on, Therefore he is only capable of scant effects on society today, and I thank the gods for it! I find his obsession with gangster rap extremely amusing! Like the banning of books the banning of song lyrics, especially when they report conditions in minority communities that the majority consistently ignores, I find his condemnation's laughable.

Triggered much? Minority groups often have benefitted much more living in the United States, even to the detriment of the majority group.
