I dont listen to the medical community anymore. I had an ongoing prescription cream to treat my seborrheic dermatitis over the years because it just didn't go away. Changing my diet helped, but not 100%. Then i tried beef tallow out of desperation and guess what it worked. Same with my high blood sugar. My doctor kept giving me prescriptions to treat it, never mentioning diet. After doing my own research and trial and error i found a diet that reduced my blood sugar to the point of not needing meds. Why are most of the doctors against helping people without drugs? Your studies aren't convincing to me either because generally they are produced by those that want us to continue spending our money. This woman is a no for me. Not coming back and going to keep up my glowing skin with the tallow i purchase from a local, sustainable, cruelty free farm.

I use them myself to get rid of my perioral dermatitis completely, how do you explain that when no other dermatologist could get it to go away? I think a lot of the brands that sell beef tallow like mine don't have clinic research backing them is because we are all mostly small homesteaders and farmers just trying to make use of an animal byproduct that would normally get thrown into the landfill. @coryascott7 ай бұрын
If the cows are raised sustainably (grass fed, rotational grazing, regenerative, etc…) then maybe. Most cows in the US food supply are not that and most animal products are not from those kinds of farms.
@mccoypauley6867 ай бұрын
@@coryascottI'm speaking about beef cattle. Which is where the byproduct tallow will come from. If you're speaking about US dairy's I would agree. Most factory farmed dairy's have atrocious conditions, as well as cruel to the animal. I would not recommend conventional dairy from USA. There are exceptions to that of course. As for beef cattle, I'd suggest speaking to cattle farmers. It's not an easy task to take care of cattle, and you will find especially if you raise cattle, the entire process is regenerative. It's hard to have a healthy herd, and they must be treated like royalty. The agenda against beef cattle is completely out of touch with reality. And when people venture out in to the country and start experiencing it, the perception becomes ever clearer. The worst part of conventional beef farming is the reliance on grain which changes the fat composition more in the omega-6 PUFA direction. But that's what consumers demand. So it's more on the public and regulators than the cattle farmer in my opinion.

Hmmm… This is interesting to see and listen to. Very recently I read some clinical research that linked linoleic acid and especially excess linoleic acid to inflammation, eczema, allergies, heart disease, diabetes… Just to name a few… In some of the same studies cholesterol, especially from animal sources (good sources) was able to calm inflammation. Further, more often than not, oils like safflower, sunflower, etc are oxidized. The excess levels of oxidation can translate to oxidative stress in the cell. So wouldn’t this in turn create negative reactions in skin cells? Furthermore, tallow has butyric acid… This is actually anti-inflammatory, and may contribute to reductions in skin irritation. It may account for the anecdotal evidence people are presenting. This may be a topic you’d be interested in revisiting?

Well sorry this girl is a carnivore not a vegan. Why don’t you spend your time trying to sell veganism to all the other carnivores in the world like tigers and wolves and actually most animals on the planet. When anthropologists study ancient humans they can tell from the bones that the were an apex predator and were higher up on the chain than other predators like foxes. I’m far healthier since I went almost entirely carnivore I’ll never go back. And a year ago go I swore off all commercial hair products. I either use water only or cleanse/condition with egg yolks and acv and my hair is awesome! Clean, shiny, soft and 0 scalp problems. A lot of people are cutting away fat from their beef and throwing it away, you can save it render it and create your own beef tallow. I think traditional and old ways will save us instead of this new technology, where you create a lotion by creating synthetic chemicals to re-create stuff that’s already in nature naturally, and we also know that meat products as well as meat by products are more readily available than plant it’s easier to absorb by the skin. If you’re gonna review product, you should leave your opinions out and just go to the basics of the product the pros and the cons of the ingredients.

Also, processing plants do have restrictions and inspections such as not taking a cow who can’t walk on its own. 232 people have contracted vCJD (human variant) from consuming beef world wide as of 2019, with a disproportionate amount being in the UK and only 4 cases in the US and those 4 cases are believed to originate from living or traveling over seas.
