3:49 The best remedies for wrinkles and dry skin
4:16 Benefits of beef tallow for the skin
6:18 Discover the best remedy for dry or wrinkled hands!
In this video, we’re going to look at some of the causes of dry skin and wrinkles, as well as the best natural remedies. Anything you put on the skin gets directly absorbed into your body.
Many chemicals are lurking in your skincare products and makeup. Along with the things we apply directly to our skin, pollution, smoking, diet, and UV radiation all affect the health and look of our skin.
Because your skin is mainly composed of protein and fat, a low-fat diet is one of the worst things for your skin. Seed oils, synthetic starches, and synthetic sugars also have detrimental effects on your skin health.
Seed oils like corn oil, cottonseed oil, canola oil, soy oil, safflower oil, and sunflower oil are very high in omega-6 fatty acids. These highly processed oils are deodorized and decolorized and are made using solvents like hexane. They can get lodged into your membranes and can stay there for two and a half to three years.
When you consume too many omega-6 fatty acids (seed oils) and not enough omega-3 fatty acids, you develop dry, red, flaky skin. Your skin may also start to look older.
Grass-fed beef tallow is very similar to your skin’s natural sebum and will not oxidize the skin or cause inflammation. Tallow contains vitamins A, D, E, and K and the compound CLA, which helps the skin retain moisture.
Tallow softens the skin and leaves it with a healthy glow. The nutrients in tallow can also help eliminate dark spots and wrinkles.
Tallow is fifty percent saturated fat and contains oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and linoleic acid-all of which have positive benefits for your skin.
For better skin, remove seed oils from the diet, apply tallow to the skin, and consume more omega-3 fatty acids. You should notice improvement in your skin in a matter of weeks.

I was in the cosmetic industry for over 30 years and had the benefit of all expensive lines of skin care products for free. I tried every high end cream and makeup out there with little sucess.. I currently have found the best results in eliminating wrinkles (especially on my neck) growth of length of eyelashes, thinning hair now growing back, and softening and healing of dry skin now with a new youthful texture all done with a $4.99 bottle of Castor oil .

love castor oil....it's a great product but, because it's so good at removing toxins you have to make sure it's organic and isn't in plastic as it will leach out the pf whatevers and other toxins and you'll end up depositing them on your skin and absorbing them.

Tallow has done amazing things for my skin. I had chapping, peeling lips that wouldn't heal with "medicated" lip products, lip balms, etc. I finally got out the tub of tallow, melted it, put a little castor oil in there and a drop of peppermint essential oil (for the cooling effect). Put it in a jar. Now I slather it all over my face as my everyday moisturizer. My lips finally healed.

@theheartofbrunswickisyourc2696 grass fed cows are where grass fed tallow comes from. Tallow is rendered from the fat of the cow. It's shelf stable. You can buy tallow, but you can also make it from this certain fat if you can get it, there are videos on KZfaq about how to make it. I got some already made tallow from a local butcher shop.

He’s great but he is very animal product bias, like for example when he brings up omega 3 fatty acids he always says fish oils when foods with the proper omega 3 to 6 ratio are plant based and he knows this the best you can get with meat is a 1:1 ratio as opposed to some plants which are 1:3 and even 1:5 from hemp seeds.

Yes...and that's because he's a Chiropractor-Researcher and into natural health. Medical doctors, on the other hand, are corrupted by sinister practices. Western medicine is about allopathic (drug pushing) medical systems that were originally manipulated by Rockefeller and now Big Pharm. The AMA (and ADA) are all about greed and profit. Dr. Berg is one of those rare doctors who actually cares about other people and what ails them and cures them, rather than just treating the symptoms w/o dealing with the cause.

I’ve used coconut oil for about 10 years on my entire body and hair and to cook with. I never use soap. I’ve been doing Keto for three years. I’ve cut out sugar and all processed food, doing Keto and eating more grass feed beef butter eggs and avocados. Point is I just turned 61. People think I’m in my late forties. Truly you are what you eat. Thank you Dr Berg! I love your videos. I’m ordering tallow today! Update: I ordered beef tallow from Amazon and just read reviews on what seemed to be good organic ingredients. Very moisturizing so no use only at night. Love it! If I feel my face is “dirty” or feels oily you can look for “non-soap” products that have no harsh chemicals so it does not dry out your skin. Never let your skin dry out completely after showering and get that coconut oil on immediately. I usually just let the water run over my face and use gentle upward strokes with a wash cloth, blot to dry. Look for products that are free of heavy drying chemicals. A google search for your skin type will yield your options.

I use tallow on my face! We raise 100% organic grassfed only sheep and I have large amounts of tallow at harvest. I purify the tallow and infuse with calendula (that I grow) for a skin cream. I also make pure tallow soap. It makes amazing soap too. It sounds weird, but I love how the tallow feels on my face. I had no idea that it's ideal for faces, I just started smearing it on my face many years ago. I should start selling it 😂

Dr. Berg I wanted to take a moment to thank you for what you do. You truly have my deepest appreciation. I do not have the time I would like to complete the thorough research information you provided. Dr. Berg, For about 10 years I suffered with PVC/PAC. It literally took 3 different cardiologist and a few general practice 10 years to diagnose what was happening. Their remedy was beta blockers. I was informed that my BP naturally runs on the lower side and the beta blockers would force it down more and would cause fainting spells. Naturally I walked away from. By the grace of God one of your videos on potassium randomly came up (prior to that I hadn't heard of you). Since tgen my PVC/PAC have stopped and my quality of life has returned. Something as simple as a potassium deficiency. I would also like to mention my husband had a high heart rate and high BP, as I said he HAD. Since correcting our potassium in take and our over all diet neither of us suffer those issues. Sincere thanks for everything!!!

Grass-fed tallow is amazing on my skin! I used to have dry, cracked, and bleeding on the backs of my hands all fall and winter, but not after I started using tallow. I also use it around my eyes; I'm in my 40s and I have almost zero wrinkles around my eyes. I also use it on my heals, elbows, etc. It basically healed the cracking on my heals. It use tallow on the whole family! Plus it's great to cook with!

I personally buy tallow from a farm in Michigan ... you can actually find it in stores like Whole Foods but I've never tried it. The tallow I buy comes in a more hardened form, typically used for cooking (I use it that way too) but I section off a portion and whip it for a few minutes with a hand mixer and use the whipped version in my skincare routine.

Thank you Dr. Berg! BTW I haven't bought any of your health products recently because I always go 'over-board' on Holiday Spending, and it always takes me a month or two to balance my budget again. But hopefully sometime in a future video, on skin, that you may address the question if Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly) is good or bad for your skin. I'm currently fighting an aggressive case of Athlete's Foot, that I picked-up last October while visiting friends. One 'home-remedy' I've been trying is Vick's Vaporub, applied to the foot. It does seem to calm the itching for a few days, but I've also noticed that, when it returns, my entire foot; top, back and even ankles get very raw, red and itchy. Vaporub is made, partially, with Petroleum Jelly, and since the skin absorbs everything, could I be having a dermatitis reaction to the Petroleum? Whether or not that may be the case, I think I'll switch over to tallow (luckily I already have some in the frig.) and start using Eucalyptus, Menthol, Tea Tree Oil, etc. in their pure form, or mixed with more organic ingredients. Since we're on the question, I was also wondering if those Japanese pads that attach to the soles of your feet while you sleep, that supposedly draw-out 'toxins' from the body, could also work on Athlete's Foot - if they work at all. Obviously I've never used them, and I'm a bit suspicious of their claims. Thank you Dr. Berg, again, for all you do. P.S. I know KZfaq has supposedly down-graded you videos and making them harder to find, but at least in my case, I still get all of your notifications. but that may be because I've Subscribed and activated the 'bell' icon, for a long time. Good Luck on ALL your endeavors.

Happy new year. You are right Dr. Berg. I heard about tallow product long time ago I use in my whole body even on my scalp for deep conditioning and I love it. I’m 67 years old and I’m not in any prescription peels. I always cook from scratch because of my Cuban culture. I don’t cook with any veggies oils. People think I’m half of my age. I started eating bacon after being pork free for 10 years, I love it but I only eat uncured bacon without the nitrogen or antibiotic, as we get older we need saturated fat but I do eat it with veggies and eggs, no with carbs. I tried with quinoa and I really enjoyed that combination. I don’t eat processed food, or soft drinks. I love fruits they are my source of sugar , including dates and drink lots of water with a pinch of sea salt. I do a little cardio and lots of weight training, pilates and trampoline. Never drink nor smoke and Im grateful for my permanent tan. Thank you for what you do. We love you, Rosa from Connecticut. ♥️🙏🏼
