The recent floods in China have brought widespread destruction. While extreme rainfall is one reason for the massive flooding, there is also another cause. China's massive dams and reservoirs built to prevent floods have done the exact opposite.

Builders of the USA, after the construction of the Hoover dam and its reservoir, learned the hard way that such a massive reservoir caused earthquakes which is why no other dams like it have been built since that time in the USA. China should have taken heed to that knowledge, but the proud, arrogant and haughty believe that they are all the wiser which is why God makes their wisdom as foolishness.
