If your car door trim produces noises or rattles or you have squeaking that make you mad, here is how I reduced these to almost nothing.
I will show you how to completely remove door trim squeaks, noises, rattle, banging, etc. Most of the times the door trim is plastic and the sound comes from the sound that the plastic trim makes when it vibrates against the metal of the door or other plastic components.
It is a very simple and it does not take too long to do. Take the door trim off, apply felt tape (aka anti rattle tape, anti noise tape, anit vibration tape) and the rubber door seal, some sound deadening and insulate the plastic clips. Put some sound deadening on the inside of the door and fit everything back together. I guarantee that after this the door trim will be extremely silent even over the biggest pot holes.
The car is a 1.6HDi Peugeot Partner (2007; ~105,000 miles; M59; 9HXC engine; 90bhp). The car is the same as a Citroen Berlingo. This should be fairly the same in a lot of other cars, only removing the trim will be different.
