Next day we’re out and he told me I should cover the cost of something very minor($40) because I make more money smh, told him I’m not covering the cost idc how much I made. That was it for me. One day he said to me that I was perfect for his future because his plan is to quit his job and go into real estate and he needed a woman that could pick up the slack the months he didn't get a commission. My total gross income between my two jobs is about $75k and I work extremely hard on both of them. That statement was exactly what I needed to hear to realize he definitely wasn't the man for me.

I used to be triggered when I heard Tony talk about folks not wanting to work for themselves; being content with working for someone else and following the norm of society. My rebuttal was always, not everyone can have their own business....our society isn't set up for that.... I had to realize that my thought process was toxic conditioning. We all have talents and a purpose that would benefit others and it's ok to be financially rewarded for those talents/purpose. I had to shift my mindset. I had to release the toxic programming. Y'all forgive me. I comment a lot now. Not because I'm attention seeking but because I live alone and this channel is a huge part of my daily life and I don't feel ashamed to say that. If you have a form a retirement through last employer; you should be able to cash out depending on employer’s retirement investment pre-qualifications. I would advise leaving it there and waiting to the age of retirement to cash out and you all should be paying into your own retirement packages tailored towards self-employed individuals!
