@@eewahnah Didn't say Garnier couldn't be cruelty free. I just wanted to point out where your money goes: To L'Oreal. Because they own Garnier. If you want to support non cruelty free brands go for it. It's kinda green washing. Gives you a good feeling and L'Oreal is happy about your money.

Second, I was wondering if you've ever considered doing reviews of submitted viewer skincare routines? Every once in a while I'd personally love to see routines from other subscribers and, well, regular people. It would be great to see how real people, with real budgets and issues not specific to the genetically blessed celebrity world, approach self-care skincare. Just a thought. Ohhhh the Clarisonic. I was on that trend big time too. Used it twice a day. I was devestated when I found out it was horrible but hey, my skin barrier healed. I still keep it on top of my bathroom cabinet for no other reason than they were expensive so it's a decor piece now.

I don't want to sound depressing because the energy here is IMPECCABLE I just wondered if you could do a video on how traumatic events effects your skin? I 've had severe ocd since I was a child after being sexually assaulted . I've taken medication for five years and it has helped immensely. I used to feel constantly disgusting about myself and started developing a sweat phobia. By 14 it got so bad, I had to wash myself three times a day and had to lather myself with soap up to five times each time, I couldn't touch anything that was dirty, I couldn't go to gym classes (rituals, rituals, rituals...). My skin was covered in rashes and scabs. I've been dealing with the consequences ever since (scarring, etc.) This one times, my face swelled and turned such a deep shade of red that the nurse sent me to the hospital. I felt humiliated, I started eating in the bathroom. I looked sick. People commented and it hurt. My face stung and burnt. I got really bad diarrhea (sorry it's not very pretty...) and was sweating profusely which just made the matter worse. I'm happy to say that I'm doing much better. I have rosacea and the flare ups can get pretty bad but I've learned how to manage it. If it wasn't for your video and those of Dr Idriss and Dr Dray I would have been in a very bad place. I haven't been able to afford a dermatologist so being able to get free education on the matter is amazing, just godsent. Thank you so much for what you do. I am incredibly grateful.

Double cleanse was actually a thing in Japan for at least half a century. Actually Japanese people get confused shopping abroad cuz they have two categories of Sengan (second step) and Kurenjingu(first step) while English use “cleanser” and “wash” both referring to the same thing.

Girlfriend must be doing something right because her skin looks amazing! The one thing that stuck out for me that she should change is she brushes her teeth after the skin care. I always brush first because toothpaste and saliva can escape the mouth and get onto the skin so you need to wash it off (just wiping won't do it). Toothpaste is very harsh and can cause irritation. And since it's a cleanser, it can remove the moisture from where it lands. If you brush first, then the skin cleansing process will remove the paste and saliva and you don't have to worry about irritation or lost moisture.

In Australia beauty professionals and magazines have been pushing the double cleanse for at least 30 years. Everyone was using Baum27 in the 2000s. In the 70s, 80s, 90s cream cleansers was a popular first cleanse.

I tried the Elemis cleansing balm... it smells potently if Citronella (same scent in bug repellent candles)... because of that i only use it when ive got a heavy makeup day or on a client who tends to need a more spa like cleanse before makeup. However i still use a cleansing water and toner afterward since as a balm it leaves residue.

I only do my full nighttime routine with the Elemis cleansing balm a few times a week because I only occasionally wear makeup. On other days I just use a face wash in the shower or use a micellaire water followed by toner.

Garnier Micellar water is really good I use it and its not pricey, there aren't many shops where I live but there is a few, and I love going shopping and having a coffee. so I get some drugstore stuff . Garnier is cruelty-free and I have been using the ultra lift for years! it works for me, but I do shop online for stuff I can't get here, and I only get cruelty free drugstore.
