On this episode of the Escape Your Limits Podcast, our guest today suffered from a traumatic brain injury in his early life which catapulted him into finding his passion in holistic health and fitness. At the start of Steve Jordan’s career, he became a personal trainer at the White House under the Clinton administration.
After his time at the White House, he became a celebrity trainer who helped coach and transform some of the world’s most influential people including A-list celebrities, professional athletes, titans of industries, and all those committed to improving their health and fitness. Recently, he released a book called “22 Ways to Optimal Health & Fitness.”
Today, we dive into:
• Why HIIT training is the least effective way to exercise
• The appropriate amount of exercise needed to get fit
• And why longevity is the front runner for fitness goals
If you buy his book in the month of January, Steve Jordan is offering a 2 for 1 deal. Buy 1 and get the 2nd free! To purchase, click here! stevejordan.com/product/22-wa...

I believe the balanced approach is best. Sometimes more intense, other times more frequent, and still other with more volume. In between all that we should eat well, sleep well and perform various types of cardio as well as stretching sessions. And, above all, listen to your body. If you're not well-rested and fully recovered, don't train that bodypart or do something easier.

Great interview, but "Is HIIT Training Not Bad For You..." is a confusing title because of the double negative. Just get rid of the word, "not", and you're asking the same question in a clearer, more impactful way with fewer words. Regardless, thanks for the excellent content.
