That beef sandwich looked amazing, well worth the money, the second accommodation, i would have walked straight out,you done well to stay the night.

It was really nice Anthony, well worth the money. I like to have a treat now and again, Little Hanoi was definitely that. As I was just staying in that room one night I just stuck it out, also I left early morning. Rated 9.6 on booking.com, I couldn’t believe it. I gave them a generous 5, it’s crazy the reviews people will give for a free meal. No way could I have eaten there mate.

I went to Dalat in April. Be sure to check out the chicken, sweetcorn and mushroom soup sold outside the Lotteria on the main strip. The weather was also cold. You'll need a coat at this time of year.

thanks for a good tour , the vibe in saigon is amazing and mostly the people are really friendly and smiley the rolls royce ghost price range is US 430,000 to 550,000 , buyers nearly always choice options happy travels

That second accommodation - kudos to you for staying one night! I had to laugh at the stuffed toys and the rat trap! How big are the rats!!? I will have to google what an egg coffee is. So many bikes, and I guess that's a good thing because if everyone had a car, I couldn't imagine the traffic jams.

Ha thanks Greg, if I had a cancellation option I definitely would have used it. I haven’t seen many rats but the ones I have seen haven’t been overly big mate. When I was there about 8 years ago there was loads more bikes, the City was a cloud of smoke so I was pleasantly surprised this time.

Nicely compacted yet detailed snapshot straight off the press of how it is right now in Vietnam's buzzing capital, I'm quite envious. I think I preferred the room in the second place you stayed but what a hassle just getting to the room plus god forbid any fire in the building. I know very easy for me to say but I'm sure you could have found a much better place to stay even close to the centre for £15 or around $20 US per night. Look forward to the next one, Regards

Thanks mate, it is a beautiful City. I like staying in homestays when I go to big cities as I feel they are safer in case the room gets robbed. I went by the reviews and it had 9.6. I’ll be honest it was full of mosquitoes and the bathroom/bed were a nightmare on the 2nd one.

@@ParkinsonRaw Even though I don't like this city very much, one thing I can tell you is that the safety of this city seems pretty good. To be honest, I feel much safer in this city than in any cities in Europe. I haven't had any problems with robbery or theft at all, even in the extremely late hours of the night. Your worry about being robbed at the hostel has never happened, and I am really sure about that

Noooo to the second accommodation you did well to stop the night. And a big no to the traffic that would drive me mad pardon the pun🙈 loved all the lights and the buildings you showed were stunning and a yes to all the markets well done hope your travel day went well 😊

It was awful June, I only wonder if the traps were there for tea. The best thing about that accommodation was leaving as quickly as possible🤣

You made me chuckle when you showed us the new "digs", looked like a kids adventure playground getting into it, you hit the jackpot with getting g@rry glitters room to, lol,.i hope theres no fire overnight or your toast, wise move skipping "free" evening meal seeing as the rat trap was empty !, you need to treat yourself more often , saving a couple of quid to stay in a dive isn't worth it, hows the travel budget doing ?, in TH i budget between 500bht to 2500bht p/night, usually average out around 800/1500bht, and i'm staying in bkk/phuket/pattaya/hua hin/cha am/chiang mai etc and small resorts enroute, HCMC looks ok but apart from you route marching around everywhere whats the public transport system like ? dont see any/many buses either,.bhan me lady must have seen the "big spender" coming and thought Ffs !, lol, The outdoor exibits at the war museum could do with a spruce up, and the multi story bar complex looked great to,cheers.

Haha it was awful, I do get some lovely places. The reviews for this were rated 9.6 ha what people will say for a free meal. In a lot of places it seems like a forgotten City. They could be doing so much more. The transport system was only buses from what I could see. It looked like there was a metro but all the stations were closed.

I will just let you in on a little secret that you probably aren’t aware of , but Ho Chi Minh City is becoming very famous for dental tourism. People come from all over the world for world class dentistry at a very affordable price

I did mate but I need to stay impartial, I learned that from Phu Ouoc being in the public eye I need to learn history can be distorted. True or false I’d rather not do my feelings mate.

Saigon is my birthday and my hometown also. Yet it is a shit place to live in in my opinion. It is expensive, too much traffic, very unorganized,hot and hell dirty. Cannot stand to live in this city
