Hey Vince - It's 2 months before we go to court, and my attorney told me today she is leaving the firm - she's been AMAZING - her husband is military and is being relocated. I can't stand my attorney's partner. He's a dishrag - she's all.balls, he's the short shaft...now what? I have zero confidence in his ability to move forward -he did a TERRIBLE job in mediation (which didn't work) and he says I can move on AFTER 7 MONTHS of backing my former employer into a tight corner - even the mediator told my former employer IN FRONT OF ME that they would 100% lose the case in court - but her partner still gets part of my settlement if I change firms - WTF???

How does one argue cases of disability discrimination -i.e. cases that largely hinge on ethics and values and have issues that challenge our moral ideals? I think that we all intuitively understand how discrimination, on its face, is wrong, and yet, disproportionately more cases are lost, on regulatory technicalities, than won.

also, did you hear about the sales rep vs fed ex ? She was awarded 75 Million and and the defense appealed it. It went to appel ct and was only awarded 275k

Trying to get gross negligence and conversion thrown out. The defense didn’t even take a deposition from me I feel like they know they’re going to lose but just wanted to your opinion on it if you could.
