It’s definitely worth it for me. I’m making my own comic right now. It makes me happy and can’t wait until I’m done.

I plan on making one, i can’t write a story yet, but my art needs work

i want to make one so bad but i just can’t draw and i’m never motivated to learn how to draw past a couple days bc it never improves. i also have no clue how or where to commission an artist but i feel like i have such a great story in my head that i want to bring to life

I know for sure it's gonna be a challenge when I actually start (I know I been in the "I'm gonna do it!" phase for years 💀) Life keeps happening, but at the very least I feel more confident about my writing in my first chapter. As of now, I'm making the roadmap starting with the first arc then I can take the story from there

I just recently finished and posted a one shot i did and worked and honestly it was tiring for me but I kept going bc i was determined to finish this and I was really passionate about it. It took me 6 months to finish but am happy I completed and now even after that I still had so much story ideas I have in mind. I always liked telling/creating story, but writing a book was not my forte but when it came to drawing I felt as though I could tell my story. Manga/comic was the thing I wanted to do. And you're right once you finish a project you'll want to create more.

I always thought about making a comic and done it a few times but kept quitting. And that was mainly only because I never plan out how my story will end, I just think about the main plot and just improvise from there which is not a good idea😂 but I don’t wanna take the time to come up with a beginning,middle, and end even though it’s necessary to get a good story out of it. My body just wants to get straight to the drawing part and ignore the storyline.

Is it Worth it ? That's up to you : personally, I like drawing as an hobby and I intent to keep it that way. The second you make it your job, there is sadly a chance you will end up hating it because you won't be doing it for fun but by obligation. So, yeah : in the words of the Booty Warrior, "The Choice's Yours."

I wanna eventually make a comic because I want to create something that I can be proud of, and provide myself and other people with like excitement over my characters n stuff. The problem is, after having a relatively consistent flood of ideas between 2017 to like 2022, the past 2 years have been absolutely barren when it comes to that. I've gotten nothing pop up in my mind except for like minor refinements to already existing ideas. And I know that there's this pitfall you must avoid where, if you don't simply start, you'll never make it at all. But I wanna make sure that I at least have the story complete in my head before I start, because I hate aimless narratives. And if I started right now it'd just be a mess of trying to wing it, with a couple specific moments in mind along the way that I know I gotta hit. Idk this shit is tough, bro
