Recently on Channel 4 News, there was an interview with two Jewish people as guests; one against Corbyn and one for. The man against Corbyn admitted at the end of the interview that he was weaponising antisemitism get Jeremy Corbyn out of politics and completely out of the public eye. He also criticised the programme for daring to publicly show Jews having opposing opinions.

This fight and discord that dominates our societies will last many years and I’m not sure what the end result will be. Scary times as they seek to divide us up.

What Corbyn has tried to offer, and what voters have increasingly shown themselves in agreement with, is a form of social democracy which in most respects was the norm from 1945 until the advent of Thatcherism. That this mild expression of reformist goals is completely unacceptable to Britain's rulers ought to show us where we've arrived in our neoliberal journey.

@therealnews: This is such an important topic and Norman Finkelstein's sober analysis is always valuable. With the audio on him so difficult to understand, is there someway you can add/insert captions for his part? The CC option does not help at all. That set aside, Aron Mate's interview, as always, is terrific. Thank you for this.

Unresolved cases of antisemitism are 1 in 7000 in the Labour Party. That is one person per each medium size city. The 'antisemism' consists of disparate social media comments. Not anti Jewish campaigns or threats. Antisemitic incidence has decreased since JC became leader of the LP

Both Norman Finkelstein and Jamie Stern-Weiner are excellent - clear and to the point! Unfortunately, the audio is not very good at Finkelstein's end. Perhaps he needs to get a microphone?

Please add high quality Closed Captioning for Finkelstein's segments. The audio is very hard to understand.

Any friends of Finkelstein out there that could come together to get him a decent mic as a gift ?

They tried anti Semitism after the coordinated resignations failed to affect his popularity - indeed it made him look better. It was clearly a plot - front benchers resigning via the press, 1 or 2 per day over a few days, rather than all telling him they don't wish to serve in his cabinet and going once and for all.

An Anti Semite was once used to describe those who don't like Jews .Now its uses to describe those who Jews don't like.

Wow, that's the easiest question to answer I've ever seen: Of course! It's ridiculous and baseless and there is no evidence of it (because it's never happened ---- not even the reasonable perception of it.)

Yes it is a smear campaign. They don't like how popular he's becoming so they must grab at straws.
