Amy and I have cruised many times on a number of cruise lines, and something that always impresses us is what's available for purchase on board. From designer bags to luxury watches, and exquisite jewelry there's something for everyone on a cruise ship. But is it worth shopping for luxury items while on a cruise?
You would assume that the majority of people interested in these products probably have favorite boutiques wherever they're from. It's probably also safe to assume that buying a luxury item from someone you are unlikely to see again might seem counter-intuitive as well. Lastly how many people board a cruise ship with a specific plan to buy say a $10,000 necklace, or watch? Probably very few people. So for these luxury goods stores on cruise ships to make sales. They have to really grab your attention.
How they do that is actually quite simple. They offer unique learning experiences and offer some ridiculously attractive prices. I'm not saying that every item for sale on a cruise ship is the best price you'll ever see. Some items have similar sale prices to stores on land. But if you know what you're looking for and are aware of what specific items can be bought for. Then you might find deals on board ship you didn't think were possible.
On this video I'll explain why these stores are able to offer items at such great deals, and how you can maybe get an even better deal if you are seriously interested in making a purchase.
