I dont know what nestorian is, but first time I heard this man teach, i knew he knows and loves Jesus and he loves people the way he forgave the man who stabbed him. he is a beautiful man of God. no one has pefect understanding of everything.

Regardless of how hard you try to pick apart, understand and define Christ’s divinity you can’t fully comprehend the reality of it. I think Mar Mari is leading peoples hearts toward Jesus Christ recognizing that he is God and the one way to eternal life and in the end that’s what matters. We don’t have to fully understand the holy nature of God to believe God is holy. Do you think the thief on the cross understood the nature of the holy trinity. I doubt it. The need to wrap your mind around the details of Gods nature is self serving.

In the orthodox doctrine what his talking about is called homeostasis. The unification of the divine and the humanity of Christ being one in nature and in person. Without confusion. The doctrine goes further to affirm that Christ's divinity did not leave him even for a blink of an eye. This we proclaim He (Christ) is fully human and fully God.

Nestorianism is a big cope. Nestorius and the Coptic church didn't even believe something else, but used different terminologies for the same belief.

"Two natures united in one person" That is the position of the Orthodox Christians. He definitely is not a Nestorian. And nothing he said here was contradictory to the church either. I do fear though his local church has/or could become more of a cult around his personality which is expounded by the fact he is not in communion with one of the ancient churches.

Nestorianism is wrong, monophysitism is wrong. However, I believe Dyophysitism and Miaphysitism are compatible, as Pope Pius VI and St. John Paul II did along with many ACOE and OO. Even the OO signed declaration with EO in 1986.
