With stocks listed on both US and TSX do you lean towards buying the US ticker? or is it stock dependent?

It depends on liquidity, my cash allocations and view on the usdcad. If you have cad in your account, the tsx ticker is just fine

Nice volume at the 200 day. Looks like it could be forming a Double Bottom. After losing support near that 50.50 area the stock looks like crap. It looks like the death cross is coming.

Comparing Apple with Shopify is ridiculous. One company is a distribution company a retail distribution and the other company is a manufacturing company. Secondly, you say you don't believe in buying and hold, Apple is the ultimate buy and hold stock from 1997 on.

I appreciate your view, but I was simply comprising two similar situations where a smaller challenger struck a win win deal with a much larger competitor. They clearly have very different businesses. And yes, I wish every stock was Apple 25 years ago, but sadly most stocks don't have returns anywhere close to that or our lives would be a lot simpler

Agreed. The apple Microsoft deal as I remember it was simply to include a Mac version of Office in their development plans. Or am I misremembering? It was not a go to market agreement for distribution channels.
