Seems like a deeper discussion needs to be had. Show seems creative, funny but it goes to too many stereotypes without the redeeming qualities of the ghetto. Every single thing is not ghetto in the ghetto. Instead of making 8 out of ten negative, take it down to 5 or 6...and bring out more of the positives. It's creative but it just seems they got the balance wayyy off, and go to sum really extremes like a drug dealin baby, they could've just had him be a teenager. Stephen Curry is described as Creole in some places on the internet, however I've never heard him refer to himself as Creole. Even if he is Creole that's still black, Creole is simply a term for people that descend from the Louisiana Territory before it became a part of the United States. They come in various shades and skin tones like Black Americans in general; some are light skin, some are brown skin and others are dark skin. With that said, I think some people are taking the Good Times cartoon too seriously, it's only entertainment. What we should be more serious about is reparations, police brutality, the racial wage gap, and educational opportunities.
