@Travelin’ Ted, yes it’s the silver color that I don’t like. Would’ve been nice if it comes in matte black. As of today, it’s already available in black in one of the new trims but it’s shiny so not for me as well. But for sure still better than silver. Haha… If it only comes in matte black, definitely will only change the tires. 😀👌🏾 Thanks for your comment and for watching the video! 🙏🏽

I commented before watching the whole thing and I actually learned a lot!!! I’m in northern Minnesota so winters are BRUTAL! Great tip on tires and the “A” button to turn off the Aux battery!!!

Just bought a 2020 Gladiator. It came with a custom package installed by Southern Off-Road Specialists. 20 in Rims 37x12.5R20 tires, custom bumper w/ winch plus more. It is a beast. Loved the review. Thanks.

Been in the market for one, in between this and a wrangler. The truck aspect of it makes me want one, if towing with a manual was better, hands down this would be the one, but I keep going back and forth because I like the looks of a wrangler just a bit more. Anyways, I don’t normally commment, but as a small youtuber to another, I must say the quality is great for a small channel, appreciate you taking the time to make this!

I appreciate it very much! 🙏🏽 Yes before the Gladiator announcement, I was really into Wranglers but when they announced the Gladiator in 2018, I fell in love with it. The truck bed for me is a win since it’s practical and really suit my needs. Really a fun vehicle too and no regrets of owning it. I love how it drives and always put a smile on my face like what I said in the video. Good luck with your decision and search. I really hope that you’ll find either a wrangler or gladiator that will suit your needs. At the end of the day, you know what you want and what will make you happy. Looking into switching from JL to JT. Good overview. Like someone else mentioned you can kind of train yourself to apply just enough brake at stop lights to keep the Jeep from moving, but not enough to activate stop start. I have KO2s on my JL and just like your Falkens they aren’t true winters. Yeah they have the snowflake, but dedicated winters like blizzaks they would be much better. Of course they don’t look as cool haha. Cheers and happy new year.

Hi @BDLL, thanks for your comment. Yes, blizzak tires are awesome and we have that in my wife’s Jeep Patriot and they’re amazing. Can’t say bad things about them. As for the Falkens, yes they have the snowflake symbol and I’m pretty happy with them since they handle the snow like a champ when we had our vacation recently. I just put the Gladiator in 4H and they handle the snow very well. Yes, I think you’ll really like the JT. I love mine and so happy that I get to drive it every single day. @Richard Ulrich, thank you! The plastidip held up very well and I did 4 coatings in total for each wheel, but I eventually peeled them off since I have upgraded to new wheels and tires. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🙏🏽

So did you go with bigger tires when you upgraded? If you did, did you get the different wheels because you had to get bigger ones to fit bigger tires? Or did you change the wheels just because you wanted a different style?

@@richardulrich9001 I changed the wheels and tires because I want a little bit bigger set than my stock ones. Now I have the Falken tires which are the same stock tires for the Rubicon and Mojave models and I got the 285/70/R17 size and I'm happy with them. Also, they are really good in snow, that's one of the reasons why I replaced them as well. The wheels that I got was the same size as the stock ones although mine has a -10 offset and it sticks out a little bit outside of the fender with the tire installed, about 1.5 inches. Also, I like a black wheel as well that's why I made the switch and way better than the silver stock wheel.

There is a TSB referencing steering issues, that were covering with my 2020 Gladiator. The repair covers the steering gearbox replacement. I had mine replaced on Monday. There is another TSB referencing the replacement of the track arm.

Bernie, The steering is MUCH IMPROVED! I took my Gladiator in, in the morning, and it was done before lunch. The dealer didn’t have a track arm in stock though. They have to order it. I had originally called the dealer, asking about any TSB’s and the service writer acknowledged, yes. There is a TSB on the loose steering issue. I had to bring the truck in for the mechanic to acknowledge there is a problem, in order to order parts. The service writer said at the time, that they could only order one steering gearbox every 7 days. But I got an early phone call, that a bunch of them had arrived. Easy, cut forward, on getting it, and having it done. It drives like a new truck! Ha ha ha

Great to know as well that they acknowledged the problem and that there was another TSB to fix all of the steering issues. It's crazy and we still love our Gladiators. Haha... Thank you so much @Nghi Tran! 🙏🏽 The tire size is a 285/70/R17 and I got the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. I highly recommend that tire brand. It’s the same Falken tire that you’ll find in the stock Rubicon or Mojave. You’ll enjoy that Gladiator if ever you end up buying one. 👌🏼😀👍🏼

@Christian Jones, yes you’re correct. Those aren’t the stock wheels and I replaced mine with these ones. The stock wheels I plastidipped them to black color but they keep peeling off and that’s why I went with the ones in the video. I appreciate you watching it and thanks for your question. 🙏🏾

I would Love to buy a gladiator, they are just pricey. I have always wanted a Jeep, and love the versatility of the gladiator. I am concerned about comfort for my bad back on long trips though...

@@joshuamiller598 Yes, the Gladiator is really pricey but totally worth it in my opinion. The seat is a bit annoying but only if you have a thicker jacket, other than that it works fine. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a capable vehicle. 👍🏽😀👌🏼

@Tony D, you're welcome! It's great to know that you're thinking of leasing a Gladiator. Yes, I highly recommend the Mojave and I really think that it's totally worth it! That's what I would get if I don't have a Sport S and if money is not an issue since it's perfect for my needs and I don't have to really modify it. You should get the recall. It will take the play right out of the steering wheel. There is also an aftermarket steering box that isn't expensive to buy and install. I bought the fully loaded Rubicon. No regrets despite the cost.

@mfh2112, I hear mixed results with the recall. Some say that it got worse, some say that it was fixed. Actually after having mine for more than a year now, I’ve gotten used to it already. Haha. @@BernieHipos It's good. No issues so far. Bought it in July of 2020. Recall set for March for the clutch pressure plate. Other than that I'm lovin' it. I've waited 20 years for this pickup. My wife (she's from Antipolo) and I like to trail camp with our 2 dogs. This truck makes it all simple to pack and go.

Can someone explain why they don’t like the start stop? I have it on my 2019 Cherokee and always left it on, getting and gladiator in July and wondering if there is an issue with start stop or people just don’t like it

@Topher Caesar, personally I don't like it since I feel it stopping and starting. Maybe you'll get used to it since as you said you have it in your Cherokee. For me it's just a personal preference, so I just disable it after starting the truck. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@tophercaesar5375 You're welcome! Yes I'm on the same boat and wished that they did not include it at all. Now, I get the habit of turning it off every time I start the truck. Haha... If you're used to it, then I don't see any problems. It's just on my part that I don't like that feature at all.

Is the gladiator a reliable truck? I want one but I’ve head bad reliability things about Jeep

@fading x gaming, in my experience, it’s very reliable and never had a major issue. The only issue that I had was a cracked windshield. The windshield of the Gladiator gets easily cracked so please be informed. Also my engine light turned on a while back because it needs a software update. Yeah, even a software update it will trigger the engine light. Lol. 😂 And rust gets to the bottom part easily, most especially if you live in an area where the weather gets pretty bad like during winter, so I rustproof mine every year and so far so good. Other than the ones mentioned above, it’s an amazing vehicle and so fun to drive most especially with the doors and roof off. Yes I said in the video that it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it, it’s still true up to this day and it never gets old. So go for it if you’re thinking of buying one. You won’t regret it! 👌🏾👍🏾 I appreciate you checking out the video and thank you for your question. Cheers! 🙏🏾

@@marki61422, yes it's allowed in Ontario and I've done that a bunch of times. It's legal as long as you have a rearview mirror but better with door side mirrors as well. Thanks for watching the video! 🙏🏽

Did you stay with the same size of wheel size from the factory or go bigger. I am running 285/70/17 on my gladiator looks great and I also love my Jeep. Just a couple annoying things also but no vehicle is perfect.

@Rick Gonzales, yes same here! I still have my Gladiator and I love it! As for the wheels, I didn’t use the stock one and I upgraded, it’s the same size but the offset which is -10. I really hope you went back to the dealership and asked them to put the correct licence plate... Gladiators should have the white with black lettering plates you see ALL trucks have.... Currently you have a passenger plate, which is for cars or SUVs... I love the Gladiators, I just hate seeing the wrong plates on them LOL!!! Also, I work at a Service Ontario office and Dealers do this all the time....

@Joanne Hguoneerg, haha... Yeah I was wondering at first and then I learned why I have a car plate they said because I bought it as a private vehicle and not as a work truck. Lol. That's what they told me. And when I went to get my new tag, Service Canada didn't say anything about it so I assume it's ok. Lol. @@BernieHipos Hey! you mean Service Ontario!!! It should definitely have a truck plate!! Theres is a code we put on ALL trucks to signify if its commercial or personal use only. I know when the Gladiators first came out a lot of the dealers were confused about what plates to give them! I hope no cops harass you!

don't press the brake pedal so hard at a stop light. Mohave is also much more expensive than the sport. the steering wheel tsb is worth replacing. there is also a stop/start device that isn't as expensive as the tazer.

Thanks for the info Justin! Yes, I'm aware that the Mojave is more expensive but if I can wait and don't have a Gladiator yet, I will definitely get it instead of the Sport S. It's more money but I think it's worth it since I don't modify my Gladiator that much. Definitely I will be happy with a stock Mojave. There were mix results with the steering TSB, some were saying that it got worse when they did it. Mine is not too bad so it's not needed. I didn't know about the less expensive one than the tazer. That's good to know! I just got used to just turning it off. Lol

Who can tell me what is the biggest tire size that we can install on a Mojave and a sport with no lift? I'm planning to get one soon... Gladiators with donut size tires looks horrible.. these trucks looks awesome with big tires.

@Pablo Rodriguez, yes I agree! With big tires it looks awesome! 😀 As per tire size, you can probably install up to 35 inch tires on a Mojave without a lift since it’s already 1 inch higher than the Rubicon. For Sport like what I have, the max in my opinion would be 33 inch with no rub although some put 35s without rubbing too but the 33 inch works great for me and I can still see the 8th gear all the time. I like it that way since it’s my daily. If I’d ever install a 2 inch lift, I’d put 37s on them. I appreciate you watching the video! 🙏🏽 Cheers!

Hi @Panuloo P, it depends actually. Hardtop is my choice most especially pag dito sa Canada kase hindi masyadong naririnig yung ingay sa labas pag naka hardtop ka and it's safer as well. Not unlike pag soft top may tendency na ma-slash yung fabric and maganda din talaga sya sa mga states na mainit like in Florida and California. Although, marami din namang naka soft top dito and they'll just change it to a hardtop kapag malapit na ang winter. Mas madali pati sya talagang i-fold, unlike the hardtop, kelangan at least dalawang tao kapag tatanggalin.

Thanks for watching and for your comment. Yes it’s more expensive, sure and I am aware of that. Definitely worth the price instead of adding parts from third party sellers and there’s no reason for me to do so since it has what I need.
