This appears to be what you would get if a Dodge Durango, a Chevy Tahoe and a Honda Pilot had a three-way love child. I can see the DNA/styling queues bleed through from the original Grand Wagoneer, however, it seems like that content is more appropriate at the Wagoneer's price point. $70+ seemed like a stretch for the Wagoneer, but $40k more? I don't think so. Thanks for the review. I'm really curious to see how well this does.

I have to say the chrome does enhance the looks of the grand Wagoneer versus the regular Wagoneer, it has a lot of features inside and I think the best part of it, I also think the rear end is nice 👍🏾 but you’re right you can buy multiple cars for that price. I think you can buy a luxury car a base model pick up truck and a base model sports car and still come out ahead.

Yeah I agree especially with such large windows, third row sunshades! Also the screens give me anxiety when they break…the screens for the ventilation controls. Also the vents should be bigger and in the ceiling

That was really neat that you were able to be granted permission to review the Customer's Brand New Jeep Grand Wagoneer and you should do another Review of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. You should do the Carseat demos, and you should do some Test Drive Videos of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer as well! The Velvet Red Exterior Color sounds really nice but what color was the interior of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer that you reviewed? What did the leather seats feel like when touching them compared to the Jeep Wagoneer? If you were to ride in the 3rd row of that vehicle, you could probably easily lay down and take a nap during the drive, as well as enjoying the smell of the leather seats. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, great review once again and I have an idea on some cars that you should review and Test Drive in the future. Cars to review and test drive: You should review some more Volvo Cars including the Volvo S60, the Volvo V90 Cross Country, The Volvo Recharge Series such as the Volvo XC60 B6, and you should drive the Volvo XC90. You should also review and test drive the Ram 1500, the Ram Heavy Duty Trucks such as the 2500 and 3500, the Ram TRX, the Jeep Wrangler 4 x e, the Jeep Wrangler 392 with big tires, and the all new series of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee including the 4 x e and the Gas Models. Also, you should do some test drive Videos of the Nissan Pathfinder and the Infinity QX60. Then another thing to consider is that you should consider in terms of fun cars is that you should review and test drive the Dodge Charger, as well as the Dodge Challenger. Oh yes, you should also do a review of a Charter bus, along with a test drive. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kinda like it over the Escalade to tow boats or horses. Also it actually has real 4WD and a little more capability. It is also more fun to drive than the caddy. Although I do think the caddy looks better from the outside. Right now caddy dealers are charging 10 k over msrp because of the shortage for the luxury models, and 30k over msrp for the sport platinum.

Different perspective than Im used to but good tour of interior. One thing Car Mom blew was not understanding the front passenger screen useful and unique purpose. The screen has a privacy lens and the driver cannot view it, therefore it plays video, etc. Also, don’t agree with her Escalade is the gold std to compare. Wagoneer and the Germans are much nicer with better fit and finish. GM is currently struggling with interior quality.

@The_Car_Mom your videos rock. Dad here. You need to update your blog article about car seat friendly tilt to include the Grand Wagoneer. Doe you know if (a) you get the bench seat, does it also have car seat friendly tilt? And (b) if you get the regular (non-grand) Wagoneer, with a bench seat, does that have car seat friendly tilt?

Good review and tour video for the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer in the Series 3 trim. Nice luxurious vehicle. This vehicle beats the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator and Infiniti QX80 in terms of passenger space as well as cargo space. It definitely beats the German engineered full size SUVs like the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS for passenger space as well as cargo space. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer also has better towing capacity than the vehicles I mentioned. Nice n comfy features found in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. A lot of premium materials used as well. It's nice that the power folding rear seats has one press button functionality and not the press/hold combination. The power folding down action are for both the third row and second row seats. Only the second row of seats doesn't unfold the seats with power. The third row seats indeed power unfold to the regular upright position. In this video the wrong button was pressed to power unfold the third row seats to the regular upright position. Jeep has intentions to have both extended length versions for the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles. It's in the works. Either sometime in this coming new year 2022 or sometime in 2023 the extended length versions will be available. When the time comes for availability the extended length Wagoneer whichever name they'll give it will compete with the Ford Expedition Max, Chevy Suburban and GMC Yukon XL. Whichever name they'll give the extended length Grand Wagoneer will compete with the Cadillac Escalade ESV and the Lincoln Navigator L.

I feel like you bashed the passenger screen a little bit. It can do more than just change the radio. The passenger can watch TV on that screen and it cannot be seen by the driver. Very cool feature that was brushed over. Also, not screwed if you someone messes with your 20 way adjustable seat...I imagine this has memory seating. Good video though! Keep it up!

In terms of the extra screen for the passenger - some features - like navigation input - are not available to the driver when the vehicle is in motion or the vehicle sense the driver is struggling to use it while driving. In this case, the passenger can put addressed in on their screen and “swipe” or “send” it over to the driver while the driver is driving. It can also find nearby locations for dining, gas, storm shelter, hospital, lodging, attractions, alternate routes, etc and I believe it can even ask for a tow truck, flat tire change, and provider “vehicle health reports” as well as when the next service is and what it will include. Vehicle health reports are connected to the Grand Wagoneer app, which can also do some other cool things - like track your Wagoneer or GW if it’s stolen, disable it, start it, etc.

The profile has a lot of 70's Suburban look reflected in it - methinks. The exterior preserved a lot of heritage but in my opinion that is not what is going to sell this car. The interior is much more eye appealing and it is definitely 21 st century. Will the dealership wait for me as I need some time to count up 111K in small bills hehe.

Also i still think I'd go for the Yukon XL Denali

A love how you americans amazed by auto hold fuction :))) My 11 years old VW Passat has it and almost every not american car manufacturer do it from years by now... I don't know why american brands missed this function untill now. It's like the soft closing doors. My 1992 Honda Legend had it and somehow today still this is the wow factor in the luxury cars.

My suggestion to any potential buyer, try to sit on the front passenger seat of this vehicle. See and feel yourself if your left foot can find a good place to rest. I found the floor space is very limited for your left foot to rest considering the size of the vehicle. Otherwise, this is a great vehicle.

you can put down the 3rd row sweat but not the second you can click a button in the trunk area which can put down thirdrow and you missed a spot in 2nd row there storage near middle screen goodbye.

Now can you control the navigation from the passenger screen??? Because that would be huge if the passenger could pull up directions while the car is moving from their screen.

I have to disagree with you on the look. You were spot on with the regular Waggoner - the weird rounded windows are ugly. Chrome trim does not make that look any better IMO

I love my Jeep brand and drive a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, but I couldn't pay over $100K for a car with Jeeps name on it. It would be like buying a $100 prime rib from Aldi.

Built mine online, same color, $115,00]. Driver seat, like most vehicles,not comfortable my size. 6'3" 350 and it feels snug.

The passenger screen lets them watch movies via Amazon Prime or via smartphone, that's one difference . I wouldn't buy this yet as it's a first gen USA vehicle (already problems). Plus the 2023 model will have driving assist like Escalade and Navigator.

Would help to see a side by side comparison of Wagoner vs Grand Wagoner to decide what exactly makes GW worth $40k more.

Chrome around every side window looks ridiculous ( Gas mileage is terrible for a modern vehicle This being said, the GW make me to look on Jeep again. Hope there wouldn’t much problems with electronics as seems everything is wired in this vehicle.

She's really pretty but no ceiling vents and we're a tad excessive on the touch screens my kids would have a blast with those I feel. Like I'd have to bubble wrap the rear ones. Also i honestly don't love how low the tvs are. It really is the limo luxary of jeeps. I will probabably never own one.

The 2nd row climate control screen is a huge issue for pass through. Think of kids attempting to get in and out during school car lines through only one side. But maybe they assume you don't have school age kids in this price range. Also, you didn't tell us whether it's worth the extra $40k vs the Wagoneer.

The price seems high only because they didn’t do anything that hasn’t been done on other luxury SUVs for under $90k. The vehicle is spectacular but at that price with nothing remarkable to speak of, it’s just average.

Honestly I would go for a couple of cars or a house instead at that price. Not a huge fan of the chrome around the windows. Makes it look less sleek /luxurious to me.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree that this is a good looking vehicle. I feel like the more expensive you go in a car, the uglier it gets and maybe that's for a reason -- same thing happens with designer clothes and shoes. I think they are designed to specifically not blend in with the kias, fords, and hyundais, but objectively, I would not place this car in the "good looking" category.

This shouldn't have been a Jeep. This was a prime opportunity for Stellantis to launch a new luxury car brand.

I like this approach to reviewing, a mom, family car perspective. But I can't get into much of the oversized vehicles you often review. I'd love to see reviews of space-efficient, safe vehicles that are great for mothers. I know oversized vehicles are popular but are they smart? I don't really care for Teslas but their use of space and safety is strong. I hope the industry gets back to space efficient and safe vehicles. This vehicle is massive, oversized. I can't get past that. The interior is "old school" luxury and maybe the quality is good, but the size of it is off-putting.

I don’t know it’s nice but still paying over $100G for a jeep seems crazy to me. I have a Tesla model X so I may be biased but I would prefer that. I love the touchscreen, falcon doors are amazing with kids, love not having to get gas and I also just loves how it drives.

I just feel this vehicle is not meant for families with little kids. This is for the mom that has high schoolers. Can you imagine milk being spilled on that climate control in the second row. Even if I could afford this car I think I would pass, Just because of all the screens and luxury aspect of it.
