My first car was my dad’s 2006 Chevy Colorado z71. He bought it in 2005 then He gave it to me for my 17th birthday in 2018. I loved it. And now that I have a job and my own income, I’m definitely getting this new one. Hands down the best truck in the world.

Am a hardcore Ford pick-up truck dude,but I must say the Colorado ZR2 bison looks cool!.

I have the 2.7 with the 310 hp in a 23 canyon at4 and I love the truck but not the motor everyone talks about how fast these things are and all but mine is sluggish takes forever to get up to speed and you can’t even hardly pass anyone I’ve had it at 2 dealers and they say it’s fine but I know it’s not , I test drove a Colorado and it felt a lot better than mine I tried to tell the dealers that but like I said they say it’s fine , so if anyone is planning on getting any of these I would suggest driving a couple first ,just giving my 2 cents for what it’s worth , I love your videos y’all always do a great job thank you

Great review as always Joe! I've been a Toyota fan all my life but this generation I think Chevy is king 🥵. Both the Colorado ZR2 Bison and the 2500 HD ZR2 Bison look incredible. One of them is gonna be my next truck (most likely the 2500 HD ZR2 Bison 😅) ! Is Toyota afraid of 35'' tires or something? Why can't they have that from the factory like all these brands? Tundra, Sequoia, Tacoma all have average capability vs. the next gen trucks from Detroit.

Still a fan of the Ford Raptor Ranger... think the suspension set up is a lil better and looks are better. Even though the 2.7 puts out 310hp can't get around that v6 400hp

Hopefully they fixed their transmission problems, I had a 2021 z71 colorado and the dealerships refused replace the trans until it went out. It's really the only complaint other then getting rid of the v6 which was a great motor over 300 horsepower. Because of the diesel and the 4 cylinder I probably wouldn't buy one again, I went to a Silverado and didn't look back.

Midsized today is basically full-sized 😂

It is crazy to me that the thing that would make me really want the ZR2 Bison over the ZR2 is the addition of black door handles. Such a small thing, but it really makes a difference.

They got a really cool product that can compete with the Ranger raptor.. I wonder why the don't offer a RHD from factory. They took risk to build some wired looking car but can't convert something that might actually sell

with considerably better engine choices it would be a class leader again. At these prices, a four-pot just isn't good enough

Ah yes gloss black on mirror caps for a truck that’s “designed” to go offroad lol. I think it looks good but they’re projecting above 60k and the same powertrain as the regular zr2 and significantly less power than the ranger raptor for example. I wish they hadn’t fallen into the same trap the ranger did where you lift the rear seats and the floor is entirely storage. As a big dog owner I LOVE my gen 2 raptor because I put my seats up and they have room all over the back

The smaller Canyon would be nice for some of the tight trails. I do not like the small rear seats and small bed. Let me have a extended cab with a longer bed and I might be interested. I have a GMC with the 2.7 turbo and I love that engine and how you can drive the torque. I like the full size of my Power Wagon and its massive space in comparison.

So, somebody lifted, went with a 35" tire and slapped some Bison Badges on a typical ZR2. Probably an extra 10K

I guess if a guy factors buying tires, modding to fit the tires, lift kit, time and all that to a normal zr2 maybe its worth it.

its funny 2nd generation when the first generation of the new zr2 just getting on lots myself i just bought the same white zr2 tech n saftey package with everything camreas bose system but not a bison i didnt need to pay n extra 12 grand for 2 inch taller tires n 1.5 lift or inch or 2 wider axles just not worth it to me i had a hard time paying 53 grand and ill say i wouldnt even buy one without the tech package you get so much more shit heated vented seats all the camreas n other stuff im forgetting

All the midsize trucks look like Tacomas now, especially the side with the rear door window hook.

Needs the LZ0 3.0 Turbomax in it and powered rear slider and a camera rear view mirror, especially with the full size tire blocking the view. Also need to get rid of the yellow stitching and urban camp interior trim as that is hideous and clashes with most color combos.

Pretty the same as a regular ZR2 the difference on the bison is the spare tire is on the bed while the zr2 is underneath..well of course the AEV logos on the seats and mats,but other than that it’s the same.

I love the new Colorado but two things make it a no-buy. 1) The gloss black. 2) I'm not excited at the thought of auto manufactures spying on me. It's creepy and weird and a huge personal security risk. The Government needs to make them stop spying on us. Offer me a Colorado with no gloss black and an analog cockpit and I'll buy it tomorrow.

I went to my Friends Dealership to order a Bison. I decided against it because I can’t fit the four family members in the truck comfortably. I would love this truck for camping if it was me and the dog. This will not cut it for me now. Maybe someday.

nice but to long and to wide. give me something smaller, lighter with the same off road level as this one and cheaper no way these are cheap or affordable.

I like the cabin on the ZR2 better than the Ford raptor cabin but the Ford raptor has a bigger engine and looks way better
