Sold my Nimbus a while ago wasn't in love it the output. This seems like it has more water storage and bigger tank for dry ice. Other reason why i sold the Nimbus is I had a situation where people started falling all over cause of the water on the dance floor. It's scary you really gotta have a crew right after the dances to mop up the Dance Floor. This machine is tempting but you have to make sure you have a clause somewhere in the contract you are not responsible for people slipping and falling. Would love to add this to my gear and possibly advertise to do this for people again with a clause. It is little dangerous especially when people had a few in them. I was there with the Nimbus so beware friends. Great video and thank you for sharing. Cheers.

Along time ago I watched a video where someone bought an NBA Court mop to wipe up the keys on the basketball court, so I ordered them and had my logo put on them. Smart move, and we just run the big flat microfiber mop over the dance floor after their first dance; you look like a boss when your assistant rolls out with the custom branded mop, lol 😆

I invested in it a while back.. You did hit the nail on the head with some of the short falls of this unit has.. One more short fall I would like to add is that a few times when we plugin both cables it has tripped the breakers at certain venues. So we would have to plug them in to separate outlets or get to the venue early enough and plugin just one cable.. It does pump a lot of cloud! Better than the Nimbus IMO.. You know i never tried it without the hose.. Looks like it pumps out even more.. That is super cool.. Thanks Jason..!

Hey Everyone... When used with dry ice pellets and not blocks its unmatched when discussing the nimbus. Little moisture and great output.

I do like the machine. Used a couple times. Still have nimbus. I did have the unit freeze on me once. I drop ice basket (With ice) in and locked top right before intros. 3 minutes later after intros and into first dance the unit would not fire. Reason is that the dry ice literally froze the metal on the top chamber of the unit, not letting the water rise to the top. It was frozen shut. Had to wait, run a cycle of water once the unit thawed, then have it be ready for a "first dance" after dinner.

Looks to be a major upgrade a to the nimbus, could you also supply pre-heated water to save on time for the unit heating up & heating up the water? and as for the water spray, how about just bringing a towel to place just in front of the unit(s) or the hose & nozzle? It truly seem to be not a lot of spray. How about when done with the cloud effect for the first dance(s) use a "swifter" to quickly mop up the wet area. Do you use the unit for anything else but the formalities at a wedding?

I've used this with and without the hose and ice pellets vs block ice having to crush them with a rubber mallet. Seems like better results using pellets as for with or without hose not sure. I used it this past weekend had it set to 80 percent output probably should of set it to 100 percent? Is that what you had this at? You like it better with or without the hose? Does the Nimbus need a 20 amp circuit to heat up the water?

I know this is from a year ago but is it possible to say put a towel in front of the outlet? The towel would in theory catch the water droplets while the material should let the fog through 🤔

I know you don't usually use this machine for dancing on clouds, but if you did. In your opinion what would you charge for this service, with this machine ? Or what's the going rate ,?

Nimbus is wayyyyy wayyy better easier lighter less electronics and less way less water on the floor.

The liability and risk created by this type of machine makes it a 100% NOGO for my operation. Introducing moisture onto a dance floor is dangerous to those dancing. Yes, I've used this type of machine before I knew better.
