And 1 Timothy 2:5 Further supports this by emphasizing that our only mediator is Christ Jesus himself. But as concerning Peter and Christ, what did Christ really teach? He taught that in John 4:21-23 that the hour was coming and was now here when the true worshipers of God would worship him in Spirit and in Truth. Which undones the concept of "Holy Sites" as far as them being necessary to worship God, because at the time they had the Temple in Jerusalem, so if he declared that to worship God, no one would need to go to a physical place but worship in Spirit and Truth, then that also refutes the claim of needing a RC Church specifically to worship God. Going further and on that same note, because Christ taught that the One True Church is a Church of the Spirit where all who believe in God and want to come and worship him do so in Spirit and Truth, through Him the Son and in the Holy Spirit, that means that history should reflect that. And it does. If you read Matthew 16:13-20 with that understanding, you can recognize how this begins to happen explicitly in Acts 2: (1-12) and 14-41 and onward. Which is the literal construction of the One True Church in Spirit. But now go even Further. Who is infallible? There was only One infallible man to have ever lived. God incarnate: Christ Jesus. All have fallen short of the Glory of God, speaking of all of humanity apart from Christ, past, present and future until the redemption by his second coming. This disputes any claim of supposed infallibility in decision making or authority declarations or authoritative finality in doctrinal declaration. Now that is not to say that no person before or after or apart from Christ is incapable of making reliable statements and declarations, but instead is to remind us that Christ is our Ultimate Authority and we have what he taught. So if someone is professing a statement of authority we have to consider if it at all contradicts what Christ taught, and if it does, we should not regard it as authoritative. For example look at how the RCC altered the 10 commandments so that idolatry would be permissible. They removed the second, yanked up the rest of them and split the 10th into two. Those aren't the original 10 commandments. And you can examine that for yourself because the ancient manuscripts testify for the integrity of the originals. So that example alone should cast some kind of doubt on anyone blindly following the authority of the RCC and reconsider who they're putting their trust in. Because it matters. Bottom line, it is expedient and beneficial for all of us to be familiar with scripture and to recognize Jesus Christ as our authority. If you have not already then by all means do read through the Gospel. Start there. Now as far as Gathering to worship, that is entirely Biblical. It is a good, healthy and encouraged thing for believers to gather together to worship God through Christ Jesus in the Spirit of the Holy Spirit. Absolutely. But that the One True Church is the RCC? With the doctrines They have put forth? That is questionable and worth reconsidering if you regard them as your authority in place of Christ. In other words, you should exercise your own sense of discernment and learn for yourself. I hope what I had to say was understandable and at least concise and that you consider what I had to say. The issue I see is that many people simply want to participate and "earn" their place in Heaven. But Matt. 16:18-20 clearly says Jesus founded a Church - “my Church” - and that the gates of hell will not prevail against it. So, where is that undefeatable Church today? Certainly not any of the contradictory man-made Protestant denominations that came centuries later.

Wrong. God leads _through_ men. All of Christ's messages in Rev. 2-3 are directed primarily to His apostles in those eras. The word that is usually translated as "angel" in the beginning of those messages refer to _human men_ , so the direct implication is that He is talking to both the angels assigned to those eras and the human leader of His Church during those periods. There is a reason why Paul listed apostles as being part of God's government.

Purgatory is scriptural (1 Cor 3:15). “Saved, but only as through fire.” So is limbo, as Jesus told the thief that he would be in paradise with him *today,* yet for 3 days Jesus was in the tomb. How then could the thief be with Jesus in paradise, if Christ hadn’t even entered heaven yet? Because they were in the limbo of the fathers.

What god's presence do you think you "felt"? Was it Jesus Christ, or was it a pagan god? We are living through times where it is vital to be careful how we phrase ourselves in relation to Israel and Jews. There is so much undeserved hatred of Jews right now. Jesus' valid criticisms were of those particular Jews at that place and in that time and for their particular sins. I always avoid language that can be misconstrued as condemning all Jews as a race or religion. How many times did Paul write the phrase 'to the Jew first and also to the Greek'? I am Protestant (was briefly Catholic) and I accept Catholic and Orthodox as fellow Christians, I think this video is pretty unfair to point to past atrocities and just dismiss the whole Catholic Church today, he doesn't seem to mention any of the wrongs the protestant church(es) have committed, such as John Calvin putting to death heretics, which if we then apply the same standard would exclude those from being true churches?

@@srich7503 The New Testament comes from before the so-called Pope got too big for his breeches and decided he was superior to the other patriarchs of the Church. And the Old Testament comes from the Pharisees. These are historical facts. And the true Church is those who believe the Scriptures and worship God in spirit and in truth. That is irrespective of any organized body claiming especial authority.

So if you cannot name the “who” i will go with history and not your bigotry against Christ’s church.

The point of the video is to show that your claim to succession through your Popes and Bishops is false because your "succession" includes murderers who were not truly Christian.

Succession doesn't depend upon impeccability, but on the handing down of succession by the laying on of hands by a bishop as he was ordained by those before him.
