This is the Milwaukee M12 Stubby 1/2 Impact Wrench, I've owned it for 3 years now and it has served me well. I would buy it again without thinking about it, if you want the same package deal I got its here: amzn.to/3P9gV3e

Warranty that workhorse!!! I've sent in some pretty abused Tools and got back a new to almost new tool. No receipt or proof of purchase necessary plus they pay for shipping. Downside it may take a week or so to get back, but worth it🤙🏼

Through Milwaukee ? Or through who ?
@johnny4713ify
@johnny4713ify Жыл бұрын
@@mosthated8190 Through Milwaukee. As long as the tool is less than 5 years old they will warranty it for free no receipt or proof of purchase of any kind. Reading left to right the first 4 numbers after the last letter of the S/N is the year and week of production. Google images and you'll be able to see what I mean. Just create a free account and when submitting your claim just choose no receipt no S/N and they will have you send in the tool with a free shipping label. I've sent in tools that had no S/N sticker, but since I know it's less than 5 years old based on the year it came out then your good to go. Since the stubby is less than 5 years he could warranty this no problem. Just to be safe if you know the tool is over 5 years old like the 2767 High Torque then I'd stick to tools that clearly have the S/N date of production visible and that are made 2019 or newer since we are almost hitting 2023. I'm pretty sure since this ones been to hell and back they will more than likely just send him a new one or pretty much a new refurbished tool back. Hope this helps 🤙🏼

@@johnny4713ifyI'm not sure the warranty covers general wear and tear though? Thanks for being helpful
@johnny4713ify
@johnny4713ify Жыл бұрын
@@happydays2190 Yes they will warranty out general wear and tear tools. This one has been through hell and back, but it be no problem. I have sent in tools in similar shape super worn out housings and anvils with no proof of purchase. You'll get back a refreshed tool with all new internal parts same shell, a referbished almost new tool or a totally brand new tool back. I send every tool back for warranty right before the 5 year mark to get refreshed anvils, triggers, housings etc. I recently sent in a 2754 and they sent me back a brand new M18 3/8 compact no complaints 😂. Trust me even if you think your tool is still working good there is always something the warranty center will find wrong with it and it will be replaced pretty awesome👍🏻. Give it a try and let me know how it went.

I didn't buy it specifically for that purpose. I have taken them off with it, with a fully charged battery. You have like a 50/50 shot on whether or not it'll take them off, if you're working on trucks, I'd either go air or get a bigger battery impact.

@@jeffreyheinzelmanjr3317 I’ve seen too many people commenting about how they had to exchange their Kobalt under the warranty. I’m gonna go with Ridgid, Dewalt, Metabo or Milwaukee, depending on the deal I can find. The Dewalt DCF891 is the king of the mid torques now I think.
