I was thinking the same thing. My reason for"no makeup" is not finding the right color and not knowing what I'm doing. When i try foundation and the whole nine, i feel like i look cakey. So I gave up.

When they say no makeup makeup they start applying layers of everything. This video is a perfect example.

I think it is a no makeup makeup look. The whole idea is to use makeup to make it look like you’re not wearing any (or much) makeup. It’s supposed to look like your skin or better, which she definitely accomplished. The only give away is her eye makeup, but this is a very natural looking look in my opinion. But maybe that’s the rub...”natural looking” is so subjective. What’s natural looking to me, isn’t to someone else.

Agreed. A no-makeup look is a ‘boy beat’ without false lashes, carved bold brows or eyeshadow. Her look is definitely soft glam as someone who’s worn glam looks but wears natural makeup looks every day. I’ve never seen a no-makeup or natural makeup look where they bake either.
