On page 24 of the owners guide the helpful tips number three when switching from pressure cooking to using the crispinn lid it is recommended to empty the pot of any remaining liquid for the best crisping results. Nobody is saying this on KZfaq.

I have been using mine for over a year and I must say, IT IS THE GREATEST GADGET I HAVE EVER BOUGHT! It makes the best jasmine rice, pot roast, chicken nuggets (for the kids, wink), chicken wings, ribs, fried rice, chili, HARD BOILED EGGS (yes the best I have ever made), the list goes on. I have put mine through the ringer with every recipe on purpose to see what it can do, it can do it all. Say goodbye to a crock pot that takes 8 hours when you get the same results in 1 or less. I am not part of their company , just a big fan!

I own it and I think it’s worth every penny. I like to bake/grill chicken without pressure cooking. I still add water to the bottom to keep the meat moist, and it works beautifully. I get crispy brown chicken on the outside but super juicy inside. Love it!

I hated kitchen gadgets for this same reason. I know it's not feasible for everyone but the wife and I have a small storage room in the basement and I bought one of those industrial metal food service racks from Lowe's for like $55 and all of our crock pots and other kitchen gadgets are on that and we just run down and grab what we need when we want to use it and put it back after clean up. Is it a pain in the butt running down to the basement to grab one? Yes, but way less of a pain to try and jam them somewhere in the kitchen with the limited storage space!

One You Tube show which pressure cooked 15 minutes said chicken was not cooked to temperature. I wish there was a chart to assist by showing minutes per pound.. I guess I experiment tonight..

Wow! First Power Air Fryer comes out with the air fryer and oven in one. Now Ninja comes out with the air fryer and pressure cooker. Wait and see! They gonna come out with the air fryer, pressure cooker, and oven in one soon. lol.

That chicken was cooked thoroughly in the Ninja appliance and looking so delicious too, but is not for the single person living in at a college, but great for families.

You are probably out of college now, but I was just going to say for others that may wonder. I have the 5 quart (I believe it is just shorter and a little more narrow on the counter). And you don't need to get a whole chicken!

And it's a slow cooker, a steamer and you can bake in it. You forgot those features.

I'd like to see more food testing in this item. I wouldn't want it just to roast chicken

@@kjellmclean7838 Ya... perhaps I should've waited. Looks like 2 years ago, the Instant Pot went on a door crasher at Canadian Tire (a big chain store, if you didn't know & not Canadian , lol) At the time the model I bought was normally about $110-125. I got it for $60

honestly just put the chicken into the oven for 45minutes (about same time it took for this cooker)... done. Air fryer has it's place for quick 5-15min items.. .this cooker is not exactly small...
