With all of the JRPGs it feels like a renaissance of the SNES! I grew up with the N64 and GameCube but none of the consoles had many RPGs sadly.

It's amazing the amount of JRPGs we've been getting. GameCube had a few more but yes both were lacking. Glad to see the love for JRPGs now

A very overall amazing console with a strong ass line up of games, and as we can see in lifetime sales, arguably one of the all time top selling consoles…..IN THE WORLD

Agreed on the Joy-Cons; just not a fan, personally, but I'm so thankful for the Pro controller as it's fantastic. The Switch library has been so incredible and they've done such an amazing job ensuring there's something for everybody. The Switch has absolutely become Lady Laci's all-time favorite console, FINALLY beating out the Sega Genesis if you can believe it!

If there was no pro controller and we were stuck with just the Joy Cons, then the system probably wouldn't rank as my favorite haha. Wow didn't think we would see the day that the Genesis was dethroned by Laci

I definitely think the Switch is the greatest console made thus far! I actually really love the Joycons, and I love the different array of colours and special editions we've gotten for them. The game library is insane as well, especially with JRPGs.

I'm glad you enjoy the Joycons. I just found them uncomfortable to use and mine got stick drift really fast too. The library of games is incredible and we are seeing a never ending supply of JRPGs now

The Switch has a great lineup of games, but it's hard to deny Joycon drift, a far from perfect online service and somewhat underpowered hardware are a drawback. I can mostly ignore those faults and play some great games - even the Direct proved that there's more to come when I mostly thought there wasn't.

Yeah most of those I can ignore too, since we have the pro controller and I mostly play single player games anyways. So much that the console has to offer!

Short answer....Yes. Real answer is if you are looking for powerful next gen consoles then no but, if you are looking for casual less expensive play that covers multiple generation of gaming then yes. The inferior quality of their controllers is a bummer, I got a switch pro controller and it had a ton of stick drift. To a point where I can't use it now. Too bad it's the only one that allows Headset capability while plugged in. They dropped the ball on the that portion.

Good points! Damn sorry to hear that with your pro controller. I had stuck drift instantly with the Joycons but my pro luckily still haven't had that issue. Yeah that's where Nintendo is far behind is online and headset capabilities

WTF Joey, I'm gonna have to unsubscribe right now 😂 Just kidding I agree with a lot of what you said, It certainly has a fantastic library, Through its first party games A unique identity Which stands apart from Xbox and PlayStation And the only real issues I have With it are the joyless cons , How Nintendo never reduces its first party games In price even if they've been out for years, It certainly is up there as one of the best Ever But for me I couldn't pick a favorite as I love so many of them, Fantastic video Joey and great take, I hope it's successor gives me the ability to Capture, Record, Edit and upload videos directly to KZfaq like I can from my playstation
