I couldn't secure myself a PS5 but I'm in no rush because I've got a gaming PC and I've still got about 2 backlog of games to finish (Crash Bandicoot 4 Xbox One X and Red dead redemption 2 PC) and I'm excited for Hyrule warriors age of calamity on Switch and Cyberpunk 2077. So I'm patient for a PS5 but if I can get my hands on one right now then I'll definitely take the opportunity to do so. Also please do not spend an awfully ridiculous amount of money on PS5 just to get it now because we gotta show those scalpers that we don't pay more than what the PS5 is worth even if we're desperately wanting one because if we pay them then this problem will keep happening with future generation consoles to come.

The load times never bothered me for the ps4 I am still very happy with it. I am also still happy enough to keep my ps4 and play VR on it. Il be waiting to get the ps5 later on probably next year. I really hope they bring out another VR headset for the ps5....then we can talk.

Mine keeps getting software error code CE-108262-9. It’ll freeze up during game play, and tonight I was playing Cold War zombies and the ps5 shut off completely I bought an Xbox X too, but sold it, now I wish I would have held onto it tbh.

It's not worth getting console during their first year of release. Waiting for bugs and software issues to be fixed is the best thing to do especially considering that most people can't get warranties on the console

I would wait until GOW2 is released BEFORE purchasing a PS5 or at least the GOW 2 PS5 Limited Edition Console. Still playing with my PS4 and definitely loving my Series X. Gamepass plays a huge roll in games in regards next generation games which will cost $70 per game and with the subscription you can download games and play now, pay later. PS5 doesn't have options like that at this time.

Ya in Canada people on eBay are selling a disk drive PS5 for 2,300 dollars and then the digital version for 1,800 dollars it’s absolutely ridiculous just like Chong said PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GETTING ONE FOR THAT PRICE!!! I got my PS5 at launch and I love it but to be honest I really could have just stayed with PS4 for another 6 months I really could have I mean your not missing out on games really like almost every big game is available for both systems PS5 and PS4 so ya that’s my take on it

Giving you a Honest bloody straight answer without being deceived by hype. If the PS5 currently do Not have the game's you like then the face value is zero. I am a Ol Skool gamer "beat em Up's and shoot em Up's, hack and slash games, platformer games. seem to me Sony stopped making those titles and flooded gaming communities with repeat of same crap open world repeat games since 2006. Sony what happened to VARIETY??? my day's of gaming is lesser by the month. only reason I'm holding on is the up-coming PS4 R-type Finals 2 coming soon. I used to game everyday . something to keep my mind busy. Now gaming is Boring as Frick and Frack . Everytime I look up here's another open world piece of junk in my face, Frick and Frack.

Go for disc, gonna save so much in the long run also you won't be able to play 2nd hand games with digital even if you do gameshare with a friend still lose money in the long run, imagine if they released digital only there would be uproar

@@stocksyere I used my ps4 for 2 years and I have most of my games digitally and gamshares which are also digital, the 4 games that are disc I could of bought digitally but just happened to have them in disc form, I guess it’s just personal preference, I feel like the future is digital games, think about movies for example before back then people used to watch in cds but now most people watch digitally on Netflix and such.

Is it still worth it if I made a mistake and bought a tv that doesn't have hdmi 2.1? Q70r by Samsung is still a decent 4k tv though. A main motivator for me getting the ps5 is also to play uhd blu rays.

... But my tv doesn't. Your TV will need to have the compatible hdmi 2.1 port to reach 120hz @4k but I'm pretty comfy with just 60hz locked - in @4k (reason to replay ps4 games like God of War) which is all I can hope for...for now and even the locked - in 30 because some games will need a patch to be able to reach higher unlocked frame rates if it's at all possible. Some games will run different if they unlock the frame rate without any other sort of patch.
