I didnt like how bouncy it was when I first tried it. Then I realized I did not have the strap tight enough. When I figured that out and put it on the tree correctly it was rock solid with no bounce or flex. I would suggest anyone buying this platform to play around with it at ground level before jumping right into a tree.

I also used a separate strap for a pair of steps on either side just above the platform strap.

Did u use the Gen 1 or the Gen 2? I had heard the Gen 1 doesn’t have the middle support so it flexes.

@@TripleRwoods I have a Gen 2. I'm 6'1" and 240 and its rock solid when you get the strap tight.

Me: Soooo, please, in God's green earth, is it comfortable, when you have no where to sit, and ONLY damn thing holding you up securely - is just a simple rope. And yes, i am anti-saddle person, and for good reason. But hey, you do you my man. But i for one, going be in tree stand, especially if its an all day hunt, least im actually sitting in tree stand in actual comfort against my ass lol Or in fancy 12 foot + tree blind has a mini bed and cook wear and mini kitchen lmao ....

Definitely not as comfortable as a a big box blind. For a 2-3 hr hunt saddles are great. After 3 hrs I get uncomfortable and need to move around. Everyone’s tolerance is different. If I’m doing an all day tree sit the millennium lock on is prob top notch.
