Probably the best bike I've ever owned, I call them " Muscle cruisers". I had a 2002 same color. POWER!! All my 1000cc sport bike buddies called it " The Rocket Ship"! Love moto vlogs like this. Keep up the good work!

I recently got a 2008 road star 1700 Silverado S as my second bike and its a lot better than I thought a metric cruiser would be. its a awesome bike for getting in to touring for cheap money, definitely recommend it

I ride a 2002 Yamaha warrior 1700 red like yours I had thought about selling it till I took it for a cruise today I fell in love with the warrior all over again probably take this bike to the grave with me I absolutely love the warrior such a blast to ride great videos I could sit up and watch these videos all night. Oh by the way about the warrior being a cruiser or sport bike it's actually in the muscle bike class instead of cruiser or sport bike it's a little of both safe travels 😎🤘

It’s a cruiser. Personally I prefer a cruiser or touring bike for daily riding or commuting compared to a sport bike. Comfort is everything. Sport bikes make me trigger happy because they don’t feel good going slow, & my hand circulation gets cut off easily too. I don’t wear gloves often either, and I get yelled at for it. I’m planning on adding extra cooling to my ride to battle the heat.

That is an interesting point of view. That's why I'm looking to get another beginner bike soon. I get the fun of a sport, but not enough power to keep me in trouble.

And yet the bike your heart is aching for does exist based upon exactly the same 1700 Cc V-twin: The Yamaha MT-01, you know, the bike you Americans could not have since Yamaha USA decided not to import this bike for you guys... So the MT-01; what kind of bike is that, well At Yamaha in Japan they stripped a 2005 Yamaha R1: all fairings came off and they took out the 4 cylinder R1 engine and they placed a Road Warrior 1700 Cc engine into the R1 Frame....made it all fit very well and so The Yamaha Frankenstein MT-01 was born. Since the bike is based up on a Yamaha R1 Frame with the Yamaha R1 front fork/brakes and the Yamaha R1 rear fork/brakes, this bike rides like a dream, also when the corners are hit, after all this is a Yamaha 1700 Cc V-tiwn R1. So basically the MT-01 (Master of Torque number 1) is no, I repeat, no cruiser, but a naked bike based up on a Naked Yamaha R1 frame/ undercarriage. To address another topic you were mentioning. I’m very much like you, I ride for purpose mostly. I need a destination otherwise I can experience the guilt feeling. I think you should keep the v-twin, you’ll miss the big torque numbers for everyday acceleration. I call it insta-torque. I don’t like to wait for my power.

Oh yeah, use your trip-meter for a gas gage, that’s what I do. You just have to measure your gas mileage and boom, gas gage. Accurate too. I have forgotten to reset it right away after fueling.

That's a good tip! I probably will never remember to reset the meter though. I'll try it out.
