I still think the "world" is trying to tell us something about 2030 (giving they are all about a great reset in that year). Something mysterious is behind that number. @@edstromen Yeah I think it is more like 80 years also with all the sickness and disease we still have in our world. Man doesn't really live to 100 (that is the outlier). SO I expect to see something by 2028. The reason why I believe that God brought Israel back to life in 1948 was also based on the timing of a Cosmic Week. That theory is basically there are 6,000 years of Adam surrendering man's dominion to Satan. Then Revelation chapter 20, 1,000 years of Christ setting up his kingdom. According to the Cosmic Week theory Christ should return to set up his kingdom in 2033 (2,000 years after his death). We can trace approximately 4,000 years from Adam to Christ. I believe Christ (the second Adam) came and died exactly 4,000 years after Adam fell. That means there are only 2,000 years from the resurrection of Christ until his second coming. Then Revelation chapter 20 begins. If the Cosmic Week theory, which is a thousand years for every day of creation week, is true and 2033AD marks the end of the 6th day, then that means the Tribulation has to begin 7 years before then, in 2026AD. The way things are going, Israel looks like they will be at war the better part of this year, and maybe even next year. You can't have a peace treaty that is signed between the Anti-Christ and Israel if there is peace already in existence. So the timing on this is very eerily close to 2026AD. I noticed that Saudi Arabia almost had a peace deal with Israel before October 7, 2023, but that was put on hold. I wonder if that was divine intervention because the time on God's calendar has to be perfect and so therefore this little war is delaying everything for another two years.

40 years is a commonly held view.

Many of that generation are still around and will be for a long while. They haven't passed away yet.

Why not just omit the rudeness and arrogance and that way you won't have to apologize for it? It doesn't say that the amount of time equivalent to a generation "will not pass away" it says, "that generation will not (fully) pass away". It hasn't! As I said, many, many of that generation are STILL with us! There's plenty of time for the prophecy to come to fruition! That's good because it preserves the truth that God isn't a liar! and He still preserves His promises to the nation of Israel, not just some figurative Israel! @@jilesbo9175
