Meet Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski. The 22-year-old Cuban American is one of the top physicists in the US, and was even deemed the “New Einstein” by Harvard University, no big deal.

This video talks about Einstein like his only quality was being very intelligent. Einstein is unique because he completely revolutionized physics and the way we look at the Universe. A century has passed and still no one has done something like that again. There have been hundreds of very intelligent people that have finished College in record time and things like that, but none of them have done something even close to what Einstein did. This is an amazingly intelligent girl, and I hope she accomplishes more great things in her life, but until she comes up with something very unique, saying that she may just be the next Einstein is just wishful thinking.

She was clearly helped by wealthy parents. Not any child can have a plane at age 12. Besides, she seems overrated and pushed by an pro-cuban/american agenda, lead by Bezos. ¿The Next Einstein?, She's already 27. Einstein at age 26 has already 4 marvelous papers that changed our knowledge of Physics. And even if we forget Einstein, there are a lot of kids who got their PhD younger than her, despite not having so many socio-economic advantages.

@@darkworld9850 The point is, it was the wealth of the family, not the talent of herself. Besides, there's no guarantee that adults assembled the plane to give her the credit after being paid. Building a plane is something any half decent brain can manage, especially when you follow instructions from those who have done it before you; she's not invented anything or really done anything special, simply let her parent(s) guide her to build a plane chassis and put an engine in it. If I had enough money when I was 14, I would have done things like that, and I would have liked to actually design and experiment with building my own engine (apparently, according to comments on here, she just bought one). Unfortunately, as I said, I don't have my own landing strip or money to buy plane parts or even space to experiment casting engine parts so...

Look building a plane is one thing but that engine was not built by her and was outsourced to embed in an airframe. A real genius like Tesla would build a motor from scratch with an entire new patent and new scientific methods. She maybe hands on and smart but that does not make her near to the level of Edison or Tesla. Show us some inventive patent and applicable commercial value to patent then she's at the level of Edison. If not no where near Einstein

Until a "genius" provides functional commercialized proof of value of a scientific development for humanity, then it is not worthy to be a front pager. Like I said, Tesla, Edison, Einstein all went from concept to value to a functional new novel patented under their name technology. I don't want to hear anymore about book smart academics. Show me in proof, in prototype and fully functional or it's bollocks. I mean let's say they have no brand name no fame, approach a venture capital and show their business and concept. Do we now just call people whatever we think will give them the most racial brownie points instead of focusing on their actual achievements, which Sabrina certainly has plenty of? I would be more impressed by her science potential if she had already discovered the coming revolution in Electric Universe Theory rather than still being stuck in the chalkboard equations which created black holes, dark energy, and dark matter out of whole cloth.

Einstein never failed exams, that's merely a popular myth with no basis. "Einstein, throughout his childhood education, was an excellent math student - always the top in his class. When a rabbi showed Einstein a newspaper article (in 1935) that said Einstein had been bad at math as a student, Einstein laughed and replied "I never failed in mathematics. Before I was fifteen I had mastered differential and integral calculus." Where the myth may have started, is that while in University, Einstein found himself far more interested in his physics courses than his math courses. He believed (and later regretted) that a physicist only needed elementary mathematics. So he didn't bother to attend a lot of his math classes. He always passed them, often getting a rating of 4 on the 6 point scale (while in his other classes he usually got 6 out of 6). This caused one of his professors, Hermann Minkowski, to say he was a "lazy dog"." - quoting from Quora. So basically Einstein was extraordinarily smart from the begging, and please, do stop thinking that you are "Einstein" because you failed math exams. It's insulting. You failed your exam because of 2 reasons: you aren't nearly as smart as Einstein and because you didn't study. Cheers
