I'm definitely saving this video. I really like this spot. How far is it from beach road and walking street? I especially like the fact that they have a restaurant inside also. I loved it all.

I’m staying at Riviera Wongamat. Have a great view. The amenities are nice. But it’s small. I fell in love with view of the ocean. But when my lease is up I’m going someplace cheaper. But I couldn’t even live in a basement apartment the hood in Chicago for what I pay here. And I’m paying way too much for this place in Pattaya terms.

Pattaya might be the spot! I visited Bangkok first and didn't like it. I'm too spoiled lol. I need all the amnesties for it to be worth it. Which includes convivence and walkability.

Looks like such a nice building. I'm not sure why there are often such mixed or negative reviews on units in this place, on AirBnb / Agoda. It could just be because those units have new people coming in and out of them, so they take more of a beating. It always made me avoid trying this building but it does look great.

Great Video, and I like the property and amenities. Definitely like the idea of a restaurant in the building. Do they have larger units? Is there shopping and grocery stores in the area, and is it walkable??

Yes they offer bigger units. There’s 7/11s everywhere and the bigger grocery stores aren’t but 10-13 minutes away

I looked at the Riviera a buch condo hunting this last month and loved the location and views but the size was way to small for me cause I plan on being in unit for at least a year so I found a condo Executive Residence with a 110 meter 1 bedroom for 22,000 Baht with great views and a 20 by 15 balcony corner unit.

Do you find with condos in pattaya, they use more like a hotel? I live in Hua Hin, and if it is a nice luxury condo, they use more like a hotel and the amenities become over crowded to a point you cannot use them.

@@RichAction IMO, limiting yourself to one city, one location, let alone just one building, is rather .... well, limiting. Point of going to and living abroad is to, well, travel. Be flexible. So many places to travel around LOS, whether Jontiem, Pattaya, Phuket, Samui, BKK, Hat Yai, Surathani, Pan Yeng, not to mention places amazing places to go throughout Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.

Find out and read very carefully the BS laws in Thailand about ownership of any property in Thailand.There are No protection for foreigner investors and you'll need a second co-signer that have to be local citizen of Thailand that would have 51% of control of share of said property in which can and without your consent cancel or take away your share holding without cause.The laws and the court system can't and will not assist you in case of a dispute.

I think he only did this as a rental spot. Myself personally once I get there I don't plan to buy or own as I'll be traveling throughout anyway. I seriously doubt he's trying to buy a place.

That’s not what my research has revealed. Non-Thais can own a condo 100%. They can own a home/villa as well, however they cannot own the land that the home is on. A condo is fine to be owned by a non-Thai as long as the unit is under the foreign quota which is no more than 49% of a building can be owned by non-Thais
